Updated Soundtrack (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/super-smash-bros-3ds-ripped-soundtrack-179706/9.html#post2773138)
Sup Vegeta! The game’s out in Japan.
There is. Can’t tell what it is unfortunately. Maybe a medley? Anyway, I’m almost done recording my set. On song 99 out of 114, so I should have an upload soon. I definitely don’t have the complete set, even though I unlocked every character and stage. Guess I still need to finish the challenges.
No no, the Wii U version has entirely different stages from the 3DS version, so it will have almost entirely new songs as well. (I’m sure it will include all the 3DS songs and plenty more.) We’ll reach Brawl’s 300+ songs, don’t fret!
They said that the 3DS version would have less music back in April… only Two Songs per stage in it. Wii U will have more songs like Brawl, tho I think most will be returning songs this time.
There’s actually about 113 tracks in the 3DS version; it’s just this gamerip isn’t complete. At any rate, probably combined, the soundtrack will be equal or close to equal to the Brawl soundtrack in terms of amount of songs. The Wii U version will have a My Music option like Brawl, so it’s likely the list will be bigger than 113. Of course, some songs from the 3DS version are going to be on Wii U version, so it’s a little difficult to predict just how big this OST will be.
These are just the songs from Smash 3DS. The Wii U game will have a (mostly?) separate tracklist, and according to a Miiverse update from some time ago, will seemingly have a similar amount of songs as Brawl did, with the My Music feature and all that.
Check out my links on page 3 🙂
Thank you friend! <3
The Wii U version will probably have a similar amount of songs as Brawl, and then add up the 3DS version’s exclusive tracks (which only have 2 per stage though) and then it doesn’t seem so small.
@soniczeki: Does the soundtest specifically credit any composers/arrangers like Brawl did?
Anyway, thanks for recording! I’m enjoying them much!
Nice! are your recordings of better quality than the ones that have already been posted?
Nah, pretty sure we used the same method of recording. Mine are titled appropriately, though there are some songs that I may have made a mistake on. There are six Kid Icarus songs (ugh, bias), two of which are just Wrath of the Reset Bomb split into two parts (I’m pretty sure I labeled them correctly), and one is a shorter version of Dark Pit’s Theme. At 57% now.
Yeah I am pretty sure the OST just consists of new arrangements. They would probably be able to fit most if not all of the tracks on the 2 discs that way.

One more question. Is the remix of Gaur Plains as heard in Shulks Reveal trailer in your recordings? I hope that Arrangement is just not a Wii U exclusive. I can’t wait that long lol.
Upload done?
Thanks, but how did you get the hissing noise to be even worse than the rip in the OP? I’ve never had hissing noises in any of my 3DS line-in rips, I seriously don’t know how you guys do it.
Probably because I use mic-in, and not line-in.
But, it would still be awesome to have a clearer rip till then… anyone up to it?
http://forums.ffshrine.org/f70/super-smash-bros-4-3ds-%5Bjp%5D-gamerip-179639/2.html
@OP: You need to lower the sensibility of your mic. No idea how it can look on your PC/software/driver settings. Usually it says "entry level" or something like that.
You need to have your 3DS without the AC adapter (it can add some noise), sound settings: stereo (surround is less faithful if recorded in 2.0), entry level<50% (but it depends really, I remember doing ALBW last year at 10% but SmaBro has even less noise at 50 for me), 3DS sound (physical slider) to the max. Also in very rare cases, the noise can come from your PC main unit. If you can, make sure to plug the main power to a grounded outlet. That’s all the advises I can give.
And to the people complaining about the song number, Sakurai specifically talked about it. He said most of the stages on the 3DS will only have 2 songs, but on the WiiU version they’ll be going all out like in Brawl (there’s a screenshot of My Music on Skyloft and it has so many songs its scrolling off the screen)

Yep that’s the guy I was posting in the other thread and talking just above 🙂
I believe somewhat like you that the Wii U version will be "like Brawl";
Brawl was like they did the game, and every last MB of space remaining on the dual-layer DVD was used to add tracks.
This time the disc is even bigger (don’t remember the size, but it’s proprietary and blue laser).
But I believe each stage will only have one new arrangement. Maybe extended versions of some 3DS tracks (each new arrangement on 3DS is like 2 minutes long and without barely any margin).
With Melee and Brawl OST, plus tracks from the original games, they have plenty. And on 3DS all the game feel a little like they used what they already had without creating that much new content. That’s still an impressive amount of new content! But I don’t expect that much new music in the Wii U game.
this guy has Rogueport, World 4, Hammer Bros. that isn’t in the 114 track rip my mperson0 ?

Currently, I’d recommend downloading KuroPuyon’s soundtrack (http://www.mediafire.com/download/p6wx3g88y0nny92/stuff.zip)
Thank you (and your bandwidth) for all of your assistance! Just a quick question:
Although each track is extended to 15 min., is Crunchii’s the (by numbers) full OST rip? I ask because, according to previous posts, it goes up to 114 (or in that range) and Crunchii’s has 126 songs. I just wanted to confirm before possibly attempting to download the large file.
Lastly, how does the mentioned KuroPuyon soundtrack version compare to the earlier posted versions? (in terms of completion and sound quality)
Thanks again!
Right now, I haven’t seen anyone post the All-Star track, and people have yet to see a Completed CD achievement AFAIK, so it’s possible there’s a song or 2 left since the Challenges haven’t been finished.
Yeah, it’s the last one in my current list. It doesn’t seem that page 3 of Challenges doesn’t have any unlockable songs either.
He would, but the newer 3ds roms are un-decryptable, at least from what I’ve been hearing.
Edit: i’m going to do some of them (not all) for my listening pleasure I’ll post them.
gamerip /=/ line-in rip
I do Have a Question, though. If these are the tracks for the 3ds version of the game. Would there be a different selection of Songs for the Wii-U version?
I also saw some videos of the Character selections of the 3ds game. Makes Me wonder if some of the cast on the roster would be different for the Wii-U version, also?.

Just so you all know, it looks like Crunchii from YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0YN3mEp0MJPH9AsLfRf0LlYkdqB7WprK) will be uploading his HQ version of his ripped soundtrack for download (both extended and not extended) after he uploads his HQ batch. Once he does, I’ll post links to them here.
Thank you so much for the updated info!
After searching for a while I found that someone actually managed to extract the music from the 3DS version, despite what we were lead to believe.
It has pretty much everything, including the victory themes of every fighter.
Now the problem is that the audio format is in NUS3BANK for all the files and I have no idea how to convert it.
Can someone handle it?

I’m trying REALLY hard not to let my brain explode right now, I’ll see if anything currently supports it. Which I doubt but it’s worth a shot.
Oh my god I just want to kiss the guy who ripped it, total homo.
UPDATE: Good news, apparently the PS3 uses that same format for some music! (Idolmaster One for all uses the same files)
Update: The Bad news, I have no idea what to do with a .nus3bank file, no extensions or anything….
I’ll upload it untagged, unless someone beats me to it, which is VERY likely.
If someone can teach this ignorant sucker, that would be great!

Edit: Welp. Xentax account, anyone?
Edit 2: Looking at the header, it seems NSU3 is a Bandai format used for storage, while GRP is the sound format. Don’t quote me on that though.

If this is true, it would actually make sense that the file format is nus3bank, because the game is developed by Bandai-Namco instead of Nintendo, who use .BRSTM for wii games and BCSTM for 3ds games. I dont think there is any program yet to convert nus3bank to mp3, but I believe people will try to crack that format. Smash is the reason .BRSTM files can be ripped, and I think this game will make people want to rip .nus3bank files.

Now downloading it. I’m going to have a look. nus3bank is a type of sound archive, but I’m not sure of any way to convert it. I’m going to have a look and ask around.
Says he will be uploading the tracks to his YT channel with downloads > NeoGAF – View Single Post – Super Smash Bros. for 3DS |OT| It’s out in Japan (http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=130238222&postcount=9138)
I can’t open it. 7zip says "Cannot open file -long filename that i’m not gonna type out- as archive".
I’m still in the middle of updating all the song names, but I should have this up fairly quickly.

Definitely interested in this! (and ideally a full CD-quality rip in the long run)
Additionally, how many tracks do you have in total for your version? Thank you for your efforts!
If anyone wants, I can try converting these into mp3, but I don’t know how well it’ll turn out nor dunno when it’ll be finished.

Just uploaded the file here (https://mega.co.nz/#!DpsgDIzS!7_-EufMLCzYOC1NeiQhSxv0pQmypFL8-Orhw_ky9Tlg), this includes the first 59 tracks. I haven’t included any of the artist names yet, but will do so as soon as I’m able to upload the complete CD later on!
Enjoy this for now.
Enjoy this for now.
There’s buzzing and hissing. Also, you’re not planning on encoding them in 128 kbit CBR for the complete set, right?
All tracks sound smooth on my end. On which ones did you hear buzzing/hissing?
I’ll attempt to get higher quality MP3 formats for the rest of the soundtracks, but that’s as much as I can do.
I’ve worked hard on this for the past two hours, but I’ve managed to convert the game’s music files into 320kbps VBR MP3 with clear audio.
Now heeeere’s the link! (WARNING: Its almost 800 MB in size)
SMASHING (http://www.mediafire.com/download/gwc1td5svzxsf9i/SMASHING.rar)
It has pretty much everything, including the victory themes with no fuzziness or hisses.
So feel free to use, tag and organize my rip elsewhere if ya all want.

Thanks a lot! It sound very good! I shall start working on tagging and organizing right away!
Do I need to try to force to 22khz or something like I just read above?
Edit: Same with 22khz. Adressed the problem to vgmstream team, maybe they have an idea.
@3DMan: IMO I think there is a problem but not with your rip. Though, I havn’t downloaded it.
From what I see, tracks with guitars or general loudness suffer the most while the more quiet and simple ones don’t get too afected.
Now if only Winamp could do proper FLAC conversions, but of course it has to say ???No decoder found??? for some asinine reason…
Do I need to try to force to 22khz or something like I just read above?
Not even 22kHz, but 20kHz. The files need to be converted unaltered from the source material.
I didn’t think it’d sound that distorted, god damn.
EDIT: I would have converted the rip when it for first appeared but I can’t get the files to play on my virtual machine and I can’t access a real Windows computer for a couple more days. Thanks for all of your efforts, everyone!
EDIT 2: It’s Mechanical Rhythm.

I guess I’ll hold off on the tagging.
You shouldn’t encode anything to 48kHz unless the source actually is 48kHz. CD standard is 44.1kHz. But always go for the source frequency.
Nope. I believe sounds comes too high from vgmstream. Listen when the main theme starts, at 15secs and compare to this:

Also sorry for this inconvinience, I get ahead of myself at times.
Also sorry for this inconvinience, I get ahead of myself at times.
Before you do it/finish, make sure it’s actually 320kbps and not VBR when converting.
Sorry ’bout this guys, I fixing this as soon as I can, jus give me less than an hour.
I’ll promise that the the frequency stays as it is and that there’s no VBR crap goin’ on.
Give me a hour or two.
Hopefully that will give me clean tracks.
Anything from brawl or Melee I can get from my existing soundtracks for those games.
Meanwhile, I did a test conversion based on everyone’s comments, Is it better?

That song is in 147kbps VBR, man that’s low…
EDIT: I also thought that the guy said they were originally 20kHz, the distortion seems to be gone for the most part though.
WHAT!? Bloody foobar…. ‘jus give a moment.
Yeah, but it’s less of a jump to 22kHz than to 44.1kHz.
FIXED GUITARS….MAYBE (http://www.mediafire.com/listen/6f4nkcqdks8llh8/FIXED+GUITARS….MAYBE.mp3)
I don’t understand fully what’s the problem is, but dare to explain the process you do for converting and the adjustements you made?
I don’t understand fully what’s the problem is, but dare to explain the process you do for converting and the adjustements you made?
I just simply took the WAVs and only converted them to normal 320 kbps without any VBRs, nothing else, but they show as 160 kbps when playing them. Odd….
But it certainly sounds more acceptable, right?
EXTENDED Soundtrack (All Stage Music Extended to 11 Minutes)
Download Link: https://db.tt/wDKsPpcq

184 Mp3 files
Says the non-extended version is coming soon, but I’m downloading this version right now in case Nintendo removes it.
Just so you all know, this time there is no disortions and the audio maintains its acceptable hertz frequency that had originally.
Once again, I’m sorry that I was reckless in the previous rip, what was I thinking?

I know this was the 116 track rip I made.
It’s got static on the quiet ones, but I’m sure you guys moved past the static, haha.
but yea, every song is here and sorted into folders.
I just did it quickly and didn’t have time to order it with the order of the Sound Test.
but I named everyone of them their respective names
EDIT: I also thought that the guy said they were originally 20kHz, the distortion seems to be gone for the most part though.
the bit rate makes sense given the low native sample rate, 320 cbr won’t improve the quality and will take a lot more space
better to use vbr-0 or a lossless encode

Great! I’ll start tagging this unless someone else has already started, let me know!
Edit: Oh! zairedwinters, you can do it. 😛
I’m going to go by: "Composer – Title" format. The Brawl rip they put the names of the songs’ origin game in the composer slot, and while it was handy, it was kind of unnecessary.
This will take a while. I apologize in advance.

I’ll start working on Japanese tags for anyone interested…

Here’s an alternative cover, but I avoided using it to not confuse it with an eventual OST rip:
Let me know if there are any mistakes. Enjoy.
Btw, Menu (Melee) Ver. 2 has an additional space, but it’s way too minor to update.
EDIT 2: I got the wrong credit for Zelda Main Theme / Underworld Theme and Target Blast.
Main Theme / Underworld Theme should be Hideki Sakamoto (坂本 英城), not Rio Hamamoto.
Target Blast should be Hiroki Hashimoto (橋本 大樹), not Rio Hamamoto.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Also, All-Star Rest Area is #105 in the Sound Test, for those still wondering.

I listed composers whenever possible (otherwise I just listed "Nintendo"). Any time a Brawl song was re-used I suffixed it with (Brawl), much like how in Brawl, Melee songs had (Melee) after their name (which I also kept for Melee tracks as well). Songs taken directly from their source without being remixed are suffixed with [Original] after the track name. Fragmented versions of the Medley songs, the Microgame themes, and both versions of Ashley’s Song have a letter after the track number.
Included a text file too that mentions the missing files and has credits.
Phew. Sometimes I scare myself.

The sound quality is really good. No line-in feedback at all. They’re directly converted.
lol 🙂
Thanks for the rips, guys! Appreciated.
If the download credits (or is by) 3DMan, it’s a gamerip.
the files have been ripped… but they themselves aren’t high quality… but it’s the best thing till the official ost hits.
EDIT: Oh no???*That last entire rip sounds worse than ripping off YouTube Channel Crunchii [VG OST’s].
which wont have every song from the game, just selections unfortunately.
Well it doesn’t need all the songs… just the new ones that weren’t in past Smash Games or maybe just past games all together… It has two discs they should be able to get all the new music on em…
Wow! I thought that was the case, but someone convinced me that the 3DS might not have a powerful enough converter for the headphone out. That’s a real shame for music lovers then!
The files themself are low quality, it has nothing to do with the audio out port.
Did something happen?
Also the one before that one only has 114 tracks.
Did anyone think of using the sleep mode option in the top right of the sounds menu to get the tracks?
When the US game comesout, that’s what I’ll be doing with all of the new songs.
I’m also going to get all the songs off the wii u version using the hed phone jack on the wii pad.
If I take all that stuff and combine it with the stuff nintendo decides to release on the 2-disc soundtrack, and all the stuff I already have from Brawl and Melee, I should be able to make a complete soundtrack.
Here’s hoping that the cd soundtrack has all the good songs, if not all the new songs.
I Really hope the brawl theme isn’t gone for good, as I can’t seem to find it on the 3ds version at all.
I also seem to remember reading that Sakury said that he was going to include music on the 3ds card just for listening, and so far; I haven’t seen that; at least on the 114-track file I downloaded.
So I understand there are already multiple tagged copies of the 3DMan rip, but here’s one I reorganized for personal use. Rather than organizing it by audiofile listing like I previously did (which can admittedly be a mess), I ordered it by Sound Test (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14fPUZwtAoXssH1aqFQy56PWkQpK0mXX_2SZ9YIXbytE/edit#gid=2054610930) and separated unlisted tracks into their own sections (organized by the audiofile listing). The track #s are simply numbers, which makes it especially cleaner to look at. Consider this tagged version a nice compromise between the Sound Test listing and the audio file listing: ordered nicely but also [mostly] complete.
I also included a credited copy of uncredited tracks (I made this distinction because the in-game Sound Test only credits arrangers and not composers unless the track is original), and copies of the missing tracks I found from other sources. However, obviously the sound quality for the latter will be different since it’s not the same source. I included it for those who want a reference or don’t care much about sound quality.
I won’t be doing a Japanese equivalent since I’d have to manually organize it. I imagine for those who especially care, it shouldn’t be tooo difficult to modify the one that I already posted for personal use.
That’s really bad, better than nothing I guess…
Heads up that this doesn’t include reused songs, total track count is 88.
p.s. They’re set to two loops with a 10 second fade out after the second one which I believe is standard for most people.

Hype…?
Oh yeah, probably posted already, but apparently the All-Star Rest theme is the 115th Sound Test song. Supposedly, it’s unlocked after you beat it with 15 characters, according to this site:
How to Unlock Everything in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS (http://www.gamnesia.com/articles/how-to-unlock-everything-in-super-smash-bros.-for-nintendo-3ds#.VBpKgxawRkZ)
Wouldn’t say it’s final though.
It sounded exactly the same but with less space, anyone want…?
I’ve just been feeling guilty seeing you guys work so hard.

Hey, that doesn’t sound too bad. In fact it sound pretty pleasant…considering the type of file.
Now I’m a little hyped.
Now I’m a little hyped.
Well, the FLAC filetype is lossless (carbon copy of the original). if it sounded anything besides pleasant, I’d be concerned.

Of course! (^: When all I saw were VBR MP3s, line in, and Youtube rips going around, I had to do something.
If Yes, How come it is not included on these soundtrack compilation rips? I know that the "Galbadia Hotel" Website, Soundtrack rip of Melee includes the Music from the opening animation of the game.
I’m sure that People would want to Have that Opening Number to the latest installment on there Soundtrack Library. C:

It does not have an opening. Much like the demo, the title screen appears immediately, followed by the tutorial demo.
The fancy cinematics are being saved for the Wii U version. The 3DS version emphasizes getting in there and enjoying the game quickly.
& Thank You very much for the update on the Opening theme. C:
My collection of 3DMan’s rip had all of them included 😛 But here you go. It doesn’t include the jingles that weren’t rippable (see Savestate’s above post)
MediaFire download (https://www.mediafire.com/?zecsi6rl5bo5nu7)
Here’s a little RAR of my FLACs I threw together for you (remember, these do not include the idsp’s that could not convert): Smash 3DS Soundtrack Jungles and Victories (http://www.mediafire.com/download/dp0bdo9va4wgigw/Smash_3DS_Soundtrack_Jungles_and_Victories.rar)
edit: "jungles" hhahahhaah whoops
-MUTE CITY [Original] should be track 048 and MUTE CITY should be track 049 according to the soundtest’s listing. I had them switched by accident.
-Track 074, Balloon Flight Medley, should be Balloon Fight Medley without the "l" in "Fight". The tag is correct, the filename is not.
-Track 108, All-Star Rest Area, is apparently not in the right spot because someone actually unlocked it in the soundtest and it comes after the Credits (I placed it after the Classic mode songs). The Victory/Random jingles I placed before the Credits were intentional though, to leave the Credits as the last song, which it now isn’t I guess?
Again, this only really matters if you care about the specific order the songs are listed in. I get antsy when I don’t have them correctly.
I’ve said this in a previous post, but to clarify: I only list the credits as the in-game Sound Test lists them. This is because the game only credits the arranger, not the composer. Had I completed all the artists, I would have to do a thorough search on every track. In most cases where the game has an official OST, this is easy. In other cases where a game lacks an OST and has multiple composers, this becomes very problematic, so I opted to leave it out.
To name a specific example, Shogo Sakai arranged Rainbow Cruise, but Koji Kondo composed it, yet only the former is credited.
A few corrections by the way:
124 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Menu 2 (Melee) – Hirokazu Ando.flac
127 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Home-Run Contest – Unknown.flac
44 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – How to Play – Unknown.flac
These tracks do not have a specific composer credited to them, and are all listed as Compositions and Arrangements Copyright Nintendo/ HAL Laboratory Inc.. The composers for Super Smash Bros. Melee, from which all these tracks originate from, are Hirokazu Ando, Tadashi Ikegami, Shogo Sakai, and Takuto Kitsuta.
15 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Rainbow Road (Mario Kart 7) – Ryo Watanabe.flac
Ryo Watanabe arranged the Medley version, the original was composed by Kenta Nagata and/or Satomi Terui.
59 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – MUTE CITY (SFC) – Naoto Ishida.flac
According to the F-Zero arrange soundtrack [TKCA-30516], MUTE CITY was composed by Yumiko Kanki.
85 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Motoi Sakuraba – Unknown.flac
86 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Dark Pit’s Theme – Motoi Sakuraba.flac
87 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Wrath of the Reset Bomb (ver 2) – Yuzo Koshiro.flac
Yasunori Mitsuda helped arranged Dark Pit’s Theme and Dark Pit. Wrath of the Reset Bomb (original) was composed by Yuzo Koshiro and orchestrated by Natsumi Kameoka.
98 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Minor Circuit – Mike Peacock.flacPunch-Out!! (Wii) lists multiple composers: Mike Peacock, Darren Radtke, and Chad York.
108 – Super Smash Bros. 3DS Soundtrack – Mega Man 2 Original Song Medley – Takashi Tateishi.flac AIRMAN STAGE, which is part of the Medley, was composed by Takashi Tateishi & Manami Matsumae.
I wonder when the Wii-U version will be out? I’m kinda working on something with audacity involving The battle Music versions of the Main Theme of this Smash Bros game. I wanted the music for the game’s opening cinematic (*Which the 3ds doesn’t Have*) to give My Main Theme Battle "Suite" (*A work I’d Be More than Happy to share with when finally finished.*) a finale.
The idea with My song order is that I kinda want to "Tell a Story" with the Music. The Story gose like this: "The Fight Begins", "The Kid gloves are off", "Total War", & Depending on How the Smash bros Wii-U opening turns out. The Battlefield song could Become "Victory" or "Hope Reborn".
That is all that I have so far. I don’t Know if there will Be changes along the way or not. It all Depends on what the Wii-u Smash Bros has to offer.
I will link your post in my post. Thank you for fixing my screwups.

If I recall correctly, he exported them as MP3s (compressed), and then used the mp3 to make a video (compressed again), then uploaded that video to youtube where it was compressed yet again to 128kbps.
If you’re talking about the files he provided for download, they’re 192kbps mp3’s which are never as good as FLACs from a source
I’m sorry if I come off as harsh but there’s no way on earth those are better than Ripped IDSP to FLAC conversions in any way except for file size.
edit:
When the CD soundtrack comes out though, I’m gonna be uploading that which will be 1000000x better than the IDSPs off the 3DS
I’ve preordered both games so I have my soundtrack CD secured already.

I’ve been going through the several rips on this thread, and comparing the sound quality of many of the tracks with headphones on, and in most cases so far I’ve found that the FLAC version is indeed the best one (avoiding any subtle hissing/compression). There has a been a couple of tracks (Brinstar Depths, Bramble Blast, Boss Battle 1 Kid Icarus, Ashley’s Song) when compared to Crunchii’s videos/versions where they seem to be different. I’m fairly certain that it is because Crunchii used the original Melee/Brawl/Kid Icarus Uprising versions instead of the new Smash 3DS-formatted version of the song, thus leaving it uncompressed-sounding. In most cases with Crunchii’s rip, the 15-minute video version tends to have better sound quality when ripped with JDownloader into .m4a, compared to the two download-format .mp3 versions he posted too (11 minute extended and non-extended "new songs only"). Pretty odd.
EDIT: Continuing into my track version comparisons, I’m almost certain now that Crunchii used the original Melee/Brawl versions of some of the songs (instead of the 3DS-edition of the reused tracks) in his original 15-minute extended videos now. I think the two downloadable versions he later posted actually are the 3DS-editions of the reused tracks, as they sound very much like the versions posted in this thread in comparison. A few more tracks that follow this phenomenon include Corneria, Dr. Mario, Ending (Yoshi’s Story), Together We Ride (Fire Emblem).
@Savestate, I’ve noticed so far looking through your tracks that I can’t seem to find FLAC versions of these three tracks: Yoshi’s Island – Athletic (Summer), Yoshi’s Island Athletic Remix (Winter), and Dark Pit (Original). Were these three tracks part of the non-convertable tracks? I’ve got them from a few other rips on this thread, but a FLAC version would be great. Thanks for everyone’s work!
However, it should be noted that there are some songs that were tweaked specifically for the 3DS. In particular, I know Kongo Jungle and Id (Purpose) are abridged versions of their original, and Live & Learn is the full version as opposed to the short version in Brawl. Just something to keep in mind, though I doubt it really matters to anyone.
Track #48: Yoshi’s Island – Athletic (Summer)
Track #49: Yoshi’s Island Athletic Remix (Winter)
Track #85: Dark Pit (Original). (I JUST REALIZED I PUT THE ARTIST AS THE SONG NAME gahhhhhhhhhhhh)
I’ll upload a mirror on mega when I get the chance later today.
Thanks for that. It’s so that I can listen to it whilst doing my work on the computers at school as the proxy server they use allows you to go to mega.co.nz but not mediafire.

I am playing my FLACs along with my 3DS and they are the exact same pitch….. Also, I’m playing my FLAC of Gaur Plains along with the OST rip.m4a and they’re the same pitch/speed. The only one that’s different is your smash rip.m4a for some reason. You may want to look into whatever program is converting the FLACs into M4As.

I’m confused. Which is the highest quality AND tagged mp3 download link? Preferably one of good quality? If all there is until the CD releases is low quality I understand. I’m just having a hard time keeping track. Thank yew!
