I've got a confession to make. The main reason I gave this score a try...is because the album art is really pretty. I've never heard of this composer before and I don't have a single documentary score in my collection. I probably shouldn't have checked this out at all since basing scores on album covers has led me astray in the past ("Clan Of The Cave Bear" by Alan Silvestri, looking at you).

But boy oh boy, I wasn't disappointed with this one! My first documentary score (I didn't even know it was a documentary score before getting into it) and what a doozy! The themes, the textures, the exotic instrumentations, it just has such a cozy feel to it. Thank you for introducing me to a score I would've had no idea existed were it not for your upload.
