Manos Hadjidakis has composed the music and the songs for many theatrical plays. In 1961, the popular couple of greek artists Dimitris Myrat and Voula Zoumboulaki, asked the composer to cover musically their theatrical performance of "Tonight we improvise", one of the best plays of Luigi Pirandello. And Hadjidakis composed a small masterpiece. Two songs from this soundtrack, "The postman" and "The mandolin", remain timeless till today, and are considered among the most representative of Hadjidakis' style. Enjoy a rare gem.
