Im currently reading Plato's "The Republic" And was wondering if anyone else knew of any other books similiar to this book or from that age, I already plan to read Homer's Illiad/Oddesy.

Read the Odyssey in school as a required. Would have read it anyways and I thought it was great. I love how Homer is so impartial in his writing and does not take a side, it always makes even the worst villains seem sympathetic. Still need to read the Iliad though...

Are you looking for more stuff by Greek philosophers, or just philosphy type stuff in general? I like reading philisophical-type books more then I should, so there are probably quite a few books I can reccommend.

If you're just looking for Greek stuff, read Plato's "The Trial and Death of Socrates". I love reading any of Socrates' conversations, and most of the best stuff is in there.
