First post!
Ok, I'm not good with this whole file downloading thing.
I'm a musician, and I'm realizing I'm really awful with extracting these music files to be able to get an mp3 or a FLAC or whatever. I just want these music files to be able to listen to over and over and over again without having to be on YouTube listening to the extended versions of video game songs. Continuous listening helps me learn how to actually play these songs.
For instance, I tried to download the Zelda: Twilight Princess original soundtrack from fartfan666, and I downloaded the zipped file, but it's an RAR, and my computer doesn't know what to do with that.
So I tried Google'ing it and I was told to download some type of file extractor and I have no idea which one to get that won't give my computer AIDS. I really cherish all the files of recorded music on my computer and I'd prefer my computer doesn't get AIDS and die.
And when trying to find out how to do this extraction, I get lost in the the computer lingo...it's Latin to me. I can create crazy sounds with ease from my head, but when it comes to this stuff, I'm clueless.
Soooo who wants to help this loser musician learn video game music?!
:)
