Here is the spectacular score of the classic movie Wings, originally composed by J.S. Zamecnik here newly arranged by Dominik Hauser, made in order to be used in the restored version of the film.
While it is newly recorded it is not, however, entirely arranged for an orchestra. It is a mixture of a live orchestra recordings and MIDI samples of the score. According to the album producers this was done with the aim of recreating the silent era of films which at that time were used only small orchestra ensembles on live perfomances.
I did a search but didn't find this score posted. Since Wings is set during the First World War, a conflict that began exactly one hundred years ago, i think is opportune to share the soundtrack now in memore of that tragic event, so enjoy :)
