In this 2001 family comedy, Eddie Murphy returned as animal-loving Doctor Dolittle, this time to help kindle a romance between two love-smitten bears, and to stifle the same thing between his daughter and her obnoxious boyfriend.
The composer for 1998's Dr. Dolittle 1 was Richard Gibbs, and the direct-to-video Dr. Dolittle 3 (2006) went to Christopher Lennertz. But David Newman got the job for the film that came in-between and he created another upbeat and fun score. Despite winning the BMI Film Music Award in 2002, the soundtrack released on J Records included only 13 pop vocals.
30 titled tracks (some short!) totaling about 39 minutes of music.
Great stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.
Tau & EAC indicated all tracks on this disc to be lossless.
Ripped to FLAC w/XLD.
