LOL - ran the tracks through Audacity to cut out the 'dead air' at the beginning and end of some tracks - went from 52 min to 44 min.

To be fair, I have never had a virus from there. And, he has no label restrictions and so can post Varese and such as he wishes. So, it is still a useful resource to have in your pocket.

I'm a soundtrack international collector and I think that the score film version of Final Destination 3 uploaded by AberZombi&Flesh can be the original film score ripped from the recording sessions and not a version ripped from the movie and if it were not so I would be surprised because it is a perfect soundtrack and I am convinced of what I say. Anyway I have a favor to ask to AberZombi & Flesh. Because it seems to me that you have the original cd soundtrack of Final Destination 3, could you share the covers back and front?

It is indeed a useful source. If I were to count how many scores I downloaded there I would be sitting here until christmas. In fact, if I hadn't entered that site I wouldn't have found this forum because that site was the one I used when I first started to become interested in film music (that would be to download the POTC trilogy). So, in one way or another, thanks Tapoktro for your website. :)

yes, this is the real deal. There're no covers to add, as I was issued none. (Not to say none exist, but when you're in the position I'm in, you
just tend to get things. Some with covers, some without. I'm just, well, blessed.). :)

Most codecs do this now. Even 256k iTunes files have no cutoff very often. However there are definitely lossy artifacts throughout. Like here:

Let me also add that I review scores. It's what I do. That said, I do not question (in your case, harrass or interrogate) fellow composers or publicists about their source files when I receive a promo score on disc. This disc in question was provided by a friend of the late composer. I ripped to WAV Lossless and posted here. (I'm having second thoughts about posting anymore Bc of reasons like this. Always questioning this and that instead of just being fucking grateful for the share..which I didn't have to do to begin with).

I get a lot of promos on disc and never harrassed anybody. I do question the quality, though. On my own shares, on stuff from other members. If it feels like an insult to you if someone points out something on your share, I'm sorry. Happened to me before (selfmade titles while original ones were available, lossy scores I declared lossless...) and I don't have any problem with it personally. Never thought about others like you may have issues with it.

I second this statement!! here's an ending that is much to be desired...you both have been a great provider of rare scores and that's enough reason to be applauded!
