1924 "symphonic" version of Rhapsody in Blue(A series of Rhapsodies strung together). The 1928 version of An American in Paris(Rhapsodic ballet)is near to my favorite of all classical compositions. These were referred to by a critic at the time as Jazzbo in Montparnasse. The musical lexicon of the time had no real terms for what this revolutionary music actually was. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do.
