"Texas" (aka "James A. Michener's Texas") was a 1995 TV movie based on Michener's sprawling novel that chronicled the conflicts between Anglo settlers in Texas and the Mexican government in the late 1830s, leading to war and, eventually, Texan independence. Holdridge contributed music that is both rousing and patriotic, with a tender love theme for guitar and orchestra---and only available as this promo released on the Prometheus label.
