Were Cloud and Tifa ever actuall a couple?
Because I'm pretty sure they won't.

And they definitley aren't the original. I believe FFVII came after FFIV, but who knows for sure?

my favorite couple is probably Squall and Rinoa, but I dunno for sure. =\

Zidane and Garnet, I suppose. Followed by Squall and Rinoa. Although I've never been a big fan of any of the couplings.

P.S. I didn't intend to be mean ;). Just felt like saying something my friend would because it cracks me up ;). I still think you're cool! I think they were the original of FFVII.

I think the best FF couple is Squall/Rinoa. Squall is a very quiet person, and Rinoa annoying sometimes. The perfect match! And there is a happy ending too. :)

Cloud and Tifa was not the original official couple. Even if you wished they were, you can't say this is the best FF couple. Because in this case it was wrong to name the topic "Best FF couples". When I read "Best FF couples", I am thinking about the real couples, not the ones I'd like to see.

I do believe that both Cecil and Rosa and Locke and Celes (although I don't know if in- game, those two were actually a couple) were before that. =\

I think the best FF couple is Squall/Rinoa. Squall is a very quiet person, and Rinoa annoying sometimes. The perfect match! And there is a happy ending too. :)

I think they are because the magazines would always put the characters together in articles, they put the couple in a game first before Aerith and Cloud, and Tifa used to be the more popular one back then, so I used to think that Square wanted them to be the couple first, so I would think they were trying to point out that they originally liked them first, so in my opinion, they were the orginal couple of FFVII. That's how I see it.

Yep, Wakka and Lulu are a great couple too. I like both of them. I think, they are the best FF-X couple. They are as perfect as Squall/Rinoa. :D

I know you see it like that, but that's not the point. You asked for the best FF couple, and this can't be Tifa/Cloud because they are not a couple.

Or the next time you should change the topic. Instead of "Best FF couple" you should name it "Which characters would I like to see as a couple".....or something like that. Don't take it wrong, ok? You know how I mean it. ;)

i love there little baby in x-2 it looks so cute and lulu really changes after having the baby it is quite scary to see such a drastic change

Yep, it is a cute baby. Looks like a little Wakka. But Lulu didn't change at all. She can just relax from fighting now. And she's going to be a mother. Of course, her acting is a little different. Lulu always liked Wakka, but she was still hanging on his brother, that's why nothing happend in FF-X. She needed to get over it at first. ;)

But I knew they will come together (before I played FF-X-2), because they are just made for each other. And when they were picking on each other, they did that, because they really like/love each other. :)

hmm........Rachel and Locke

This is going to sound a little stupid, but I always thought Sephiroth and Aeris would be a good couple. But lets be realistic here.

Squall and Rinoa.

My favorrite couple is Squall and Rinoa. I just loved that last scene after the credits rolled in 8's ending! it was so :love: :love: Tidus and Yuna is my second favorite couple.

Cecil and Rosa are like the "epic" couple, something expected from a fantasy tale... and whoever said earlier that they weren't a couple... you must not have beat the game *----SPOILER----* they get married, remember?

Cloud and Aeris... they seem to care for eachother and want more, but it never quite works out right. Obviously Sephiroth's sword enforces this.

Cloud and Tifa definately have something going on, and are more like a real couple- the game leaves it wide open to make you wonder if they might get hitched.

Tidus and Yuna... yeah, that's another good example of the "frobidden love" couple... except that it works out. Almost.

Locke and Celes- definate potential. Good couple. Love triangle with Terra makes an issue, but I think Locke and Terra seem to grow apart as Celes gets more into the picture. The Opera definitely makes them an item, and Terra seemed to have the hots for Leo.

Squall and Rinoa are also very epic but a bit more felt too. Not dry like Cecil and Rosa.

All in all... its hard to say! I think I like Celes and Locke most of all.

Rachel was his main love interest, I agree... but after using Phoenix they finally put closure on their relationship.

It doesn't outright show it, but Locke and Celes seem to grow more attached as the game goes on- just look at the ending sequence where he saves her. Something is definately in the brewing, but the game doesn't tell you. I kind of like how they did that because it makes you wonder...

Yeah. I kinda have trouble with that whole thing too - because you basically have to go rescue him. If you don't, he's not there for Celes, because he's still lusting after Rachel. The next time I replay the game, I plan to try beating the game with as few characters as possible and see how the endings are different.

Aside from them, I also like Shuyin and Lenne (ffx-2). Their love was so genuine and so strong that even after their deaths they still strived to be together. ANd Shuyin didnt want to rest in peace unless she finds her. So tragic and pretty.

Just cause at some time or another, one or both the people comprising the couples have either annoyed me, been sooooooooooooooo unbelievably stupid (yes Mr. Leonhart & Miss Heartilly, i'm looking DIRECTLY at you two here!!!) or the couples seemed forced together for the sake of having a romance aspect to the game's plot.

Shuyin & Lenne... i don't know.. i think it could be because you never learned that much about them, but they seemed to love each other dearly, even though each knew they were both dead... (for Pete's sake, Shuyin was gonna destroy Spira to get to be with her in the afterlife!!!) and also, they seemed to have been together for a lot longer than any other FF couple (i'm talking VII onwards here btw, can't comment on games i haven't played-yet!)

I just preferred them to Tidus & Yuna in FFX-2... hell, I preferred Rikku & Gippal's sorta-kinda flirting to Yuna getting all het up ABOUT A COMPLETE PAIN IN THE ASS!!!!! aaaaargh!!! sorry, can't stand Tidus... I've tried, but he winds me up more that Seymour for Yevon's sake!!!!!!!!
