What do you mean?
The only difference between APE and Flac is that an average CD compressed in ape
is 2-3% smaller in size than the same CD in Flac. In my system APE sounds better
than Flac and almost indistinguishable compared to wav.
Experts believe that both are lossless and exactly the same as uncompressed wave.
There is no debate possible on lossless formats.
If you don't like it, convert it into Flac.

I prefer all tracks separated and in the format I can use - so APE doesn't do much for me (no offence to anyone who uses or uploads it).
Of course I can convert it and then chop it into little cues, but that's just too much work.

I have a suggestion for everyone: please DON'T use Medieval CUE Splitter! It's a really shitty software to split audio tracks, which sometimes damages the tracks themselves.

Use this, instead:
