I had a question about the Sphere locks... I know how the sphere system works like, u gotta be on a spehere or next to one to activate it.... but my question is what about the spehere LOCKS? I have a Spehere Level 1... so do i have to be on or next to Lock 1 in order to activate it?
Im asking because most of my characters are way past the sphere locks and i dont really wanna go back to unlock the sphere locks...

Sphere locks can only open up through special spheres. For instance, a Lv.1 Lock can only open up with a Lv.1 Key Sphere. I believe there's a tutorial on this at Mi'ihen, so if you forgot and passed that location, check for one of those tutorial thingys you find every so often (like in hotels, etc.).

Lets say im 30 spaces away from Lock 1... DO i have to move those 30 space all the way back to open the lock? Or can i just open it from a mile away?

Well, if all you have is a Lvl. 1 Lock, then you must move to at least one block away from it. You don't have to be directly on the sphere, but you can unlock it if you are only one sphere away from it.

If you don't want to unlock them you don't have to. It just depends on the type of abilities that you want. You can wait until you can gain sphere levels more easily.

Well, just in case you want to go back to unlock a block...:)
When you activate the blocks the first time, every step you walk will count as one. After they were activated already, you can cover a distance quickly. Instead of one step, you can go ten maybe. But you'll find out what to do. ;)
