All interpreted by St Petersburg Radio & TV Symphony Orchestra, Stanislav Gorkovenko conductor. Great CD with the two main classics children love. Thanks Legoru for your purely orchestral version of Peter and the Wolf. I had been collecting the many narrated versions (there used to be a separate thread on the Shrine but I can't find it now).

Thanks for this "karaoke" version, legoru (with all respect to musicians and music lovers). That's what came to my mind when it began to sound and I noticed the absence of the narration: one could use this album and do that role oneself for children. I even imagined puppet or shadow play at the same time, lol. Moreover, something of that kind would make a wonderful theatre number if done by children themselves in an end-of-year school festival. After all, they were the target audience of this work.

But I like it just like that; the narration is not necessary. Nice share.
