For "Buffalo Girls," a big-budget 1995 TV movie about Calamity Jane and the last days of the Wild West, Lee Holdridge composed a rich and stirring score featuring lots of brass. The music becomes more refined when the gang travels to London as part of a Wild West Show, but returns to its Western roots when they return home. The film was showered with Emmy nominations including one for Holdridge’s score. Prometheus filled out the rest of this promo disc with 8 tracks of Holdridge’s music to "Gunfighter’s Moon," a 1997 western movie from Sweden (!) with a decidedly more ominous score than "Buffalo Girls."
31 tracks total in great stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.
Prometheus Promo (as Film Music of Lee Holdridge Volume 5)
Tau & EAC indicated all tracks on this disc to be lossless.
