I am very happy when I hear that someone played FF7 after the other chapters, but still he7she considers the 7th as the best of all.

I'm going to go cry now.

I had never heard of the final fantasy series before this game. I was in 5th grade at the time and I was instantly hooked one i started it.

I played 8, 9, 10, and 10-2 before I played 7. Since then, I've played 6 and am currently working my way through 5.

Out of all of them, 7 is my least favorite.

FF7 was my first final fantasy. Before that I never heard of the otheres (if I did than I took no notice).

My fav FF is 10

Yep, FF-VII was also my first Final Fantasy game. I had never heard of it before. ;)

FF-VII was the reason to buy me a Playstation. :rolleyes:

I wish I could still speak a little Italian. I would say something cool to you.

Anyhow, FFVII was my 4th Final Fantasy.

I was around 7(I think) when I first played it. Before that I played very little RPG games. I had to get my older friend to do it cuz I kept dying on the first boss(Roboguard or whatever)

When I look back I really sucked at RPG, but than again we all had to learn to play before we become good at them.

7 was the first i played...... then i did 9, then 10, then 4, then 6 then 8...... I played them in the wrong order. After seeing how good the game was on its own i wanted to play more. then i did.... and now 6 is my fav game ever. All thanks to my playing FF7 first :D

Even though 7 is one of my favorites it wasnt my first. FF 3 was my first. I played it when I was like 5. I also played 4 and 5 before 7.

FFVII was my first RPG and my first FF i was only 6 but then i went back and played FF II and FFVI and then i played chrono trigger:)

FF7 was my 1st then it was 8 then 10 then X-2 then 9

FF7 was my first FF game to play. I remember when I was looking for a playstation game to buy, then I came across FF7. Some guy next to me said it was a very good game, so I was like "okay I'll give it a try." And that's how it happened! :)

Yep, FF7 was my favourite game, and anyone who knocks it doesn't know ANYTHING about a good final fantasy when they see one.

People might prefer other final fantasy's to final fantasy 7, but in my honest opinion final fantasy 7 isnt a "bad" final fantasy.

It isn't that hard. I mean al you gotta do is draw magic junction it and then use it. At the start if you get 10 Tents you can then refine them into Curaga's. Put it in you HP and you already have like 3000. Draw 100 Dimi's from Diablos and you have awsome strength.

Altough i love FF7 sooo much i still do not have it! so sad for me. :( anyways i still want to buy it!

Yes, it was, and as much as I love it, I think the main reason its a lot of peoples' favorite is because nothing can replace that first RPG experience. You go from Mario Brothers to a game that can actually make you feel things! There will always be nostalgia.

You know... contradictory. You say all (and in bold print, to boot) then say you're not going to be able to play 1-6. It's oxymoronic.

And anyway, if you can play the later ones, you must have a PS2, right?

Like the guy who made this thread, english is not really the language i'm speaking every day... So... Sorry for the errors and stuff.

it was the first game i got with my ps and is my second fav as i couldnt wait for ff8 when it came out and it still is my fav

First one was FF1. I played it with my sister and we both gave up half way.

Why??

Nothing wrong with the story and stuff (we didn't understand much anyway), but the battles took FAR too long. For example, you gotta wait 30 seconds to while casting a spell on 5 enemies because the animation speeds are simply so slow.

FF7 is the second one, although said to be relatively easy by RPG veterans, I'm not that much of a RPG person and it was hard enough.

I'm not too keen on starting a new FF for now. I'm just too lazy to learn completely new battle systems :P
