Thanks for sharing this! I've owned this CD since it's release but I packed it away in storage after ripping it into iTunes several years ago, at a crappy bitrate. So nice to finally be able to upgrade what I have handy.

I'm shocked more people haven't asked for this. It has always been one of my favorite Horner scores. Horner repeats himself a lot - everyone knows this. He's got a bag of tricks and goes to it often, but every once in awhile he takes the effort (or has the time) to dig and find something new. Those are always the scores of his that stand out to me. I'd say this score was probably his first big leap into something new after getting onto the A list with Star Trek 2. For anyone not familiar with The Land Before Time, it's more than worth the effort.

I hope Intrada comes out with a remastered (possibly expanded) version of this score, someday. The Land Before Time is one of James Horner's best and is a must listen. Too bad it's not as available as it certainly should be.
