Take care.
thank you!!!
You mean all the "recording sessions the motion picture score" stuff? In that case I have to say that I found this font on the Internets (wasn’t easy) :3
After comparing the two scores… I assume that the complete score has serveral tracks of the two tracks from the recording sessions mashed up into one.

01 / 03:13 / Opening
02 / 01:37 / News Report
03 / 09:00 / Alabama
04 / 02:04 / Little Ducks

06 / 01:24 / Fire in the Galley
07 / 08:17 / Contact
08 / 03:22 / This is Not a Drill
09 / 03:22 / Akula
10 / 15:18 / Command
11 / 09:48 / Mutiny
12 / 18:07 / 1SQ
13 / 00:52 / Crisis Averted
14 / 01:15 / Court of Inquiry
15 / 08:46 / Roll Tide
the first column in the comparison below is the expanded edition (the second: sessions) which merges some of the tracks in a listenable fashion (which I sometimes like better, for example in the last track) like the official album did. in doing so it omits sometimes mere seconds but some pieces are actually longer. Does someone have background information on this?
01 = 01
02 = 02
03 = 03,04,05,09
04 = 06
05 = 07 (longer, film version, i think)
06 = 08
07 = 11,12
08 = 13
09 = 14
10 = 15,16 (16 is longer)
11 = 17
12 = 18
13 = 19
14 = 20
15 = 21,22
Oh yeah, and track 10 from the sessions is missing from the expanded version but that’s not necessarily a loss in the context of a listenable album. 🙂
I saw it a few days ago for the first time, though I’d always intended to see it at some point.
It’s a very tense film, fun but extremely serious most of the time. The track titles for this are spoilers but it doesn’t take away from the tension.
I must say the "Alabama" theme was definitely a triumph. It’s a fantastic theme and I fondly remember its use in the final "Independence Day" trailer.

I’m very impressed at your deductions, sinus. Excellent job. It’s never a complete film score of Crimson Tide without track 10.
Surely not, that is true. But it’s also true for all the seconds missing here and there – in some cases half a minute!
I feel myself a little torn beetween completist (sessions), quality fanatic (lossless expanded) and regular joe who just wants a nice listen without distracting stuff like the repetition of tracks 21 and 22 and short pieces like track 10 without real musical development.
The sessions are not sounding bad and the expanded is almost complete. Doesn’t help. 🙂 I guess I really hope for a lossless share of the sessions. 🙂

In this day and age, sinus… there’s always hope.
Thank you in advance!

Enjoy!
No problem, buddy.
Thanks
NO ONE HAS THE FLAC VERSION
That’s not actually true in this case…
Well than as I like to say: put up or shut up. I was more or less just trying to express myself towards HDLossless, always asking for such ridiculously-ludacris hq files

Thanks for the new upload of this (also thanks to the original uploader). Another one of my top favorites from Zimmer along with The Rock

Ok, seems like I was a bit too eager here, a quick search found a flac version – Thread 188815
