Well I just came across this by a mere chance while actually paying attention to the "new" section under window's media player.

Anywho, They finally got on the ball with it and finished the sequel up to the first GitS. From the lil trailer it looks much more complicated art wise, and everything seems to have advance even further. The story seems to have changed a bit too, not too much that it wouldn't make for a good sequel.

Only thing they tell you is that Major isn't going to pay much of a part in this one. Actually a quote "with Major gone...blah blah blah"

anywho...thoughts on this from GitS fan, and I suppose those that aren't fan?

I'm not a huge Ghost in the Shell fan. I don't hate it like some people do, but it didn't really make a big impression on me.

I've seen the trailer for the new Ghost in the Shell several times now. It's definitely piqued my interest. The whole style of animation looks so different to me.

I'm going to check it out, at any rate.

You know, I really wanted to see this movie on a big screen, but I'm out of luck. Not one theater in the whole damn state of Mississippi is going to show it.

That sucks like hell. I reeally hate when they have a good movie only in selected theaters....Good thing I'm in always in a big city like Chicago and Madison

This isn't the first time I've had to put up with bullshit like this. I couldn't find a showing of Princess Mononoke within 200 miles of my home. But of course, we get every pokemon and yugioh movie...

It's the same for me now. =/

I used to live right by a HUGE theater, and got the chance to see everything cool on the big screen.

But the only thing near me now is a tiny mall movie theater.

Sometimes I hate living in Massachusetts.

I'm sure within a week or so you'll be able to download it...but I still understand you wanting to see it on the big screen. Maybe you should just make it an all day trip with a few friends....
Tis what I did when I was in the UP and we wanted to see movies

(cuz up there in the UP you're chances of seeing a movie you like when it comes out on the big screen is like zero percent. So I know the feeling)
