Slightly expanded version!

you know, I don't understand why people are hating on this soundtrack so hard. after seeing the movie multiple times and listening to the score pretty much non-stop for a couple of weeks now. It fits the overall mood of the movie to a "T" and has some really good themes. The Winter Soldier track in particular (the one most badmouthed) it heightens the action of the scene and furthermore invokes exactly the dread/anticipation/awe needed for a ghost/super-soldier/assassin/weapon.

sure this isn't anything like Silvestri's music for the First Avenger. But, then this movie is a totally different kind of beast...
The First Avenger was all about patriotism, hope and the 40's. Winter Soldier is about chaos, secrets, assassinations and heart break.

personally the more I listen to it, the better I like it! Enough to have purchased the physical cd rather than just a download from ITunes.

Actually it does, and even if it didnt, you dont make a new thread for a new link! Its against forum rules to create multiple threads for one soundtrack! You put your link in the original thread!

Well someone can merge it if they feel the need, trouble with that is that then the link people want is on page 12 of a thread where people are just asking for the link and no one finds it. This way, there it is, post 1; click the link, get the music. Or is that too simple? ;-)

Well... I'm not sure where 'The Winter Soldier' goes, but the rest of the tracks are pretty much in the order of the film. People may say what they will about Jackman, but at least he arranges his albums properly (so far).

He pulls that crap particularly on the third act as well. "The Causeway" and "Into the Fray" are lacking plenty of material from their respective sequences, and 'The Causeway' running 2:42 minutes out of a 7.5 minute sequence is ridiculous at best. It's as if the people mastering the album displayed the music in wavelength form and said 'hey! this part right here looks big and loud... it's probably important!" and discard everything else.

That scene gives me chills. I know it's all 'fake', but the way Steve bursts through all of those doors. He looks even more athletic than in CAP TFA.

It's not even close, but if you piece together the official release that zardoz22 posted here and combine it with the (awesome!) unreleased cues (Thread 178597) that R3v3rs3 made, you get something like this, which already lasts considerably longer and is more (as in longer lasting) enjoyable :-)

There are 2 versions of The Winter Soldier soundtrack circulating internet, one purchased online and another ripped from the CD. I don't remember what version is this, but the one purchased online has DRM (digitally watermarked) and the CD version is clean.

✘ If you download a version WITHOUT an extraction log document, "probably" is the watermarked version.
✔ If you download a version with a log, ripped using EAC V1.0 beta 3 from 29. August 2011 and used drive Optiarc DVD RW AD-7260S, is the clean version.

You can check this viewing the spectrum (vertical lines) or hearing, for example, the beginning of track 11 "Hydra" (you can hear a tack-tack-tack-tack-tack-tack-tack).

I know that I have repeated this many times but The Winter Soldier is my favorite soundtrack of all, the first of my list, my Top 1, I need to have the complete score in lossless yes or yes, I love very much the �industrial percussion� created for this, my blood boil when my speakers explode with the sound, I don't know how to describe it well but in two simple words is pure adrenaline and frenzy.

I just want to ask please, please and please again. Each of us have our favorite soundtrack and I know what happens with the "sensation" hearing the sound, that feeling that invades us, and this is my case with CA:TWS.

I swear that the person who release it will have an honor hall in my soul forever.

8 minutes and 22 seconds while the official soundtrack version is only 2 minutes/43 seconds. Mother of god, this should be AGGRESSIVE.

The Actual thing is the one with slates. Hybrid (HZ.com) just added the main suites and alternates from the OST. But in order to make his much longer. Besides he always changes the track titles and adds the original ones from the cue sheets.

People are talking. It's out there. Unless you're specifically talking about the sessions and not the complete score....

I'd love to get the score that isn't the official release but talking won't get it done. And it being out there won't matter until it appears here or in a similar forum. The way this and other scores are released makes it easy to believe the folks doing the releasing are no fans of music.

Honestly, after six years of waiting for that, when it finally leaked I thought, "... This is it?" I realized that almost all the musical themes (not necessarily all the CONTENT) were encompassed in the OST, if that makes any sense. Only the track playing immediately during Dumbledore's death was, in my mind, "missing". :/

Really, though, the sessions were worth it just for that one piece. But, to get back on CA:TWS topic, it is coming. I just have a feeling. We have the tracklist, so we'll almost surely get the sessions. The only instance I can think of where we got the cue list but not the sessions is Star Wars. Other than that, it's a given. Our best bet is to bicker amongst ourselves until someone is nice enough to post it, which should really not be too long.

Im glad that this might have a possibility of leaking, but then again, just cause the cue list is out there doesn't mean it will lek soon, The amazing spiderman 2 cue list from the sessions and complete leaked during the hack yet it is no where to be found. I don't even know if its out in the trading circles.

I don't suppose it would hinder you to know that throughout the six years, I was WISHING that the HBP sessions would leak. The whole time. So my waiting and wishing DID pay off, it just took a really long time. And while I respect your opinion, I cannot help but disagree.

Ripping a BD and edit each track manually is much more work than compress a simple file and upload it, so if I did it so fast I don't know why is not possible with a score leaked, it's just make a .RAR/.ZIP and leave open the computer until the upload. 2 hours max. Will and effort, nothing more.

Again, magical thinking. Your wishing HAD NO EFFECT on the release of the session. Your desires DID NOT influence the individual to release the score. That person decided to do it. I mean if you believe your wishing had an effect, what was the mechanism or means of that effect? How did you influence that person to release the score? And what sort of proof can you offer, something that can be measured, that your desires caused the release of the score? (And please don't say the eventual release of the score proves your desires caused it to appear. That's circular logic.)

I think the both of you missed my point. I didn't mean to say that my thoughts affected whether or not it leaked. My original point was a counter-argument to his "it's been a year-and-a-half since the film's release, so the sessions won't leak" argument. I really just wanted to point out that it had been six years since HBP, EIGHT since OOTP. So, in my eyes, a year-and-a-half is nothing.

It was almost 20 since The Lion King, I think that may be the longest wait yet.
