I cannot believe they called it that haha... anyone else shocked that they called Sabin's (FFVI) final blitz 'Bum Rush'? What happened? Was it a very bad translation error, or were the people naming it having a laugh? lol

Well, I mean, it technically is a "Bum Rush". Maybe you're thinking of Bum as in "butt"?
Bum Rushes are jumping someone and fighting them with wild and reckless abandon.

What I never got was why SUPLEX was grabbing the enemy and jumping with them to smash them.
Wouldn't that be more of a PILE DRIVER?

because pile drivering the doom train would just be silly.

Suplexing it makes much more sense!

It sounded like "Bomb Rush", the animation was sort of explosive (not literally), so maybe Bum was supposed to be Bomb? :)
