Alright,

I am planning to buy FFVII for the PC because my life aint complete without it. I must be able to play it whenever I can seeing as how I am travel for my job alot. But seening as how the world has moved on. And with the advancements in are computers now adays I dont know if I would be able to play it on my Super Dell. Does anyone know if I could play with XP? Also I am curious to know if it is true that the game is very glitched to the point that if your a fan it will severely upset you. I hope not. I need to play it again. I have played it in awhile. So if anyone can set me straight I would greatly appreciate it.

i am pretty sure there is a XP patch but i am not sure about the glitches.

lol. Not that smokey. I mean like missing conversations, magic and summons dont look the same. Stuff like that. I love FFVII. To this day it is my favorite game. And there aint another game with its maginatude. The materia system flawless. Summons beautiful. Story compelling. I spent almost 100 hours beating all the weapons. Finding Limit Breakers. (Which I have to had are the freaking best in any FF yet) Hidden Characters. Unveiling the Story behind Cloud and Zack. Like I said. The greatest game of all time I my opinion. I was just asking if the glitchs in the game itself are true.

Oh yeah. If there is a XP Patch does anyone know where I can find it. So that I can get it now. In case I do get the game.

Well, even if these glitches are true, you would still consider it the greatest game of all time, correct? So, from what it sounds like, these glitches shouldn't really matter to you that much.

no i just found that patch while looking for a half-life patch but i don't have it because it is damn near impossible to find around here hope you have better luck.

Nope. Amazon is the best. Secure and you can buy almost anything new. Like FFVII for the PC but it is the platnium version and it is like 50.00 so I was trying to get some input first. You can also buy used stuff on there too. Just type it in the search box and BAM. There it is.

I just replayed the game on my XP pc.
The music was better on my old machine using the Yamaha Software synthesizer. The XP patch also had such a software synthesizer, but it just sounded a little less good.
Also the mini game with Cloud on the motorbike went way to fast, and almost unplayable. Graphics are better on a pc though...
And the overall game runs a little bit faster compared with my old pc (don't know how fast it is supposed to go on psx)
That's about all the differences i can remember right now...

Alright. That is what I needed to hear. That doesnt sound like it is anything to major enough not to enjoy the game itself. I think I am going to buy it. Do you happen to know the difference in the Platnium and the Orginal White Triangle Version?

I have the original version, never seen the platinum version...

I don't know if there even is a diference (except, the discs,package and maybe booklet)
