It was less than $10 last night. You guys never learn.... :(
At least a request thread was never started for The Town FYC, which I won earlier today

It doesn't really matter if a request thread was started or not. If you are not willing to bid at least $300 you have no chance to get a NEW (never on ebay) FYC score.
Best example: 'Epic' by Elfman. There was no thread but it was sold for over $500.
If you want to spend only ~$100 or less, you have to wait a little bit longer.

There was a thread, made by this exact same user.

You are right. I must have missed it.
Nevertheless, I doubt that the thread had any impact on the price. Those first buyers usually go beyond $300.

After 90 days I believe, eBay removes the listing, along with the pictures, etc. So, that's why you cannot get the links to work, because they unfortunately will not work for anyone.

eBay is your best bet, or some used record stores in California around Hollywood, etc would be a better more reasonable place to purchase a CD like this. It was on eBay twice so far.

I don't know any of those stores in California. Does anybody know any?

Amoeba is your best bet, they have 3 different stores in California, Google them. But. It's all about going at the right time, their products are based off what has been given / what they purchased from customers.. at least that's what I think it means.

It also depends on when you go. I was at Amoeba the 3rd weekend in September last year. The one on Sunset Blvd. I searched the soundtrack section and the only thing I found that was worth something was the La-La Land Batman. There were zero FYCs. I bet around awards season you'd find 'em there. Also, anyone who lives in LA - Variety usually issues some FYCs free inside their Oscar editions, so check them when the time comes

Thanks. What does FYC stand for? Is variety the magazine? If it's a store could you please give me the full name? Thanks.

End of the year. Usually starts around November and goes all the way to either February/March, depending when the Academy Awards take place.

Thanks. The artwork for the expanded score has been released. I hope it's good news. By the way, can someone please send me instructions on how to rip a score from a film on a Macintosh computer without having to worry about other sounds in the background? I'm interested in doing so.
