Good evening everyone.

First, excuse my bad english, French is my mothertall and I've some difficulties to write in english.
Recently, I've bought a Synology NAS and I've put my music library on this NAS. I want to buy a good and "ergonomic" device to stream this music. I want to naviguate and pilot my music from an iPad.
I'm an happy owner of an Onkyo NR-TX809 with KEF Qxxx series.
So, I've selected two options, but difficult to choose the good one:

Sonos Connect (with, maybe later, an external DAC) or the Pioneer N-50.

Like most of you, I listen a lot of OST, so, Gapless capabilities is very important for me.

With the Sonos option, I'm sure that's gapless and the iPad app is very nice and useful... but, impossible to read HD music (actually, I've got only two or three ablum in this format and I'm not sure it's really essential).

With the Pioneer N-50 option, I can play all format, include HD files and I think it's gapless with the pioneer app... but this ios app is very bad and not useful! I hope I can use the synology app to play music (DS Audio), but in this case, I've read that the gapless capacity is not guaranted! I've read a lot of Tests that are saying the internal DAC of the N-50 is excellent for the price. I Suppose the result is better than the Sonos directly connected to my Onkyo.

What's your opinion on that questions?
Sonos or Pioneer N-50?

And, by the way, maybe some of you have a Synology NAS and are using DS Audio to stream music with the Pioneer N-50. In this case, could you confirm me if it's Gapless or not?

Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,

Fabrice
