From that place...
First, I'd like to say it is a pleasure to read a post from a young teenager that is articulate and well thought out. Most wonderful job!
What a sad world we live in.
That doesn't seem to answer anything.
It only seems to troubleshoot whether or not you purchased the items.
That's all.
Says nothing about downloading the items again.
However, I just logged into my accout on iTunes.
Go to "Library" on the top.
On the thumbnail pictures of your purchases (they should all be there), you'll see in the top right corner of each cover art a "cloud" symbol inside a triangle.
Hover over it and it will show you a down arrow symbol. You can download from their cloud service. :smrt:
However, you need to authorize your machine to your account first before doing anything.
That should work.

I think how it works if you delete the data from the iTunes folders (Windows 7_x64: C:\Users\~Username~\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\...)
You'll see the downloaded stuff there. Delete all that and next time you load iTunes and sign in to your account, you should see the "cloud" symbol to download again.
Cus mine was empty when I signed in after moving it all.
Their Terms of Service changed so you might want to read that as it may have some additional information on downloads and purchases.
I didn't read it.
