This album is a set of 5 cues from Zimmer's early years when he worked at Lillie Yard Studio with his mentor at the time, Stanley Myers (The Deer Hunter).These cues are impossible to find anywhere else. Fools Of Fortune feels like an early development of themes in Gladiator, and A World Apart is the start of his African themes that would later become The Lion King and Tears Of The Sun. This is great early Zimmer. Here is a list of the cues on the CD with the film's title in parentheses along with the playing time. The album includes:
