Very good (and rare) version. Everybody knows the famous "sabre dance", but there
are in Gayane so great melodies and arrangments (the fabulous prologue, for an exemple, or the begining of the 2nd act, or, in the cd1 at 17.30 mn,one of the most beautiful Waltz theme of all times). there are also many armenian folklore influences.
anyway, it's so melodic and inspired, that it make me think this one is sup�rior to spartacus. (only my advice).
