Note: this deluxe edition called for four sources: the 25th anniversary Burton/Elfman box set edition of the score, the 5.1 isolated score from the Bluray which I re-ripped and re-mixed in some places, a Harry Belafonte compilation album titled Pure Gold and the original 1988 soundtrack album for the song "Jump in the Line (Shake Shake Seora)" which sounded terrible on Pure Gold. Like my previous rip, I combined the album and isolated score versions to re-create the complete score in the highest quality and helping to diversify the album by including the Harry Belafonte songs in their proper chronological order. I left out all the demo cues because they're not really "must haves" to enjoy this score.
Editorial Notes:
1. Main Titles (first 11 seconds from Bluray, remainder from box set)
2. Sweet Heart from Venezuela (Belafonte Pure Gold album)
3. Happy House (box set)
4. Man Smart (Woman Smarter) (Belafonte Pure Gold album)
5. Travel Music Pt. 1 (The Perfect Vacation) (box set)
6. Travel Music Pt. 2 (Wrong Turn) (box set for first 35 seconds, remainder from isolated score with necessary leveling performed to balance it out)
7. Book/Obituaries (box set)
8. "Sold" (isolated score)
9. Enter...the Family (box set [cues Delia's Entrance & Enter the Family] and isolated score to create natural fade out)
10. Otho/Adam's Plan (box set for first 37 seconds then the rest is isolated score)
11. Spooks (isolated score)
12. Snake Worm Planet (off-and-on combo of box set and isolated score, from 1:09 to end is isolated score)
13. Everything Goes (isolated score)
14. The Flier/"That Little Girl Saw Us..." (opening stinger from isolated score, next piece is from box set, last cue from isolated score)
15. Skeleton Key Pts. 1 & 2/Beetlejuice Commercial (box set)
16. The Door (isolated score)
17. Waiting Room #1 (opening from isolated score, segues into box set cue)
18. Lydia Discovers (box set)
19. Waiting Room #2 (box set)
20. The Other Side (isolated score, tried to level as best as I could. It's the best so far but will probably never sound perfect)
21. Juno's Theme (box set)
22. The Fly (box set)
23. Sheet Ghosts (box set, isolated score used to create natural fade out at end)
24. Lydia's Photos (box set)
25. In the Model (box set)
26. Another Plan (isolated score)
27. The Banana Boat Song (Day-O) (Belafonte Pure Gold album)
28. No Ghosts (isolated score for first 2 seconds then box set for remainder)
29. Beetle-Snake (box set for first 1:19, remainder from isolated score)
30. Harlots' Hangout (box set, appears to be sourced from isolated score anyway)
31. Family Types (box set)
32. Regnava nel Silenzio (the opera playing when Lydia is writing her suicide note, I leveled it out and it sounds great and consistent)
33. Scary Faces Pts. 1 & 2 (isolated score)
34. ''I Wanna Be Dead, Too'' (first 17 seconds box set, remainder is isolated score)
35. Lydia's Pep Talk (first 20 seconds from isolated score, remainder from box set)
36. Otho's Idea (first 18 seconds from box set, remainder from isolated score)
37. The Incantation/Lydia Strikes a Bargain/Showtime! (largely from boxset, there was an extended tuba bit that plays on for a few seconds before the calliope music in "Showtime!" picks up that was missing from album so that small section is from the isolated score)
38. "Laughs" (box set)
39. The Wedding (first 22 seconds from box set, 0:22-1:50 is from isolated score, the rest is from the box set.)
40. Travel Music Pt. 3 (Bike Ride) (isolated score, re-leveled audio and now sounds the best but this one is tricky like "The Other Side.")
41. Jump in the Line (Shake, Shake Seora) (original 1988 soundtrack album, increased volume for cosistency within this set)
42. End Credits (box set)
43. Main Titles (alternate, w/ Elfman vocal intro) (box set, is as the title suggests)
44. "Sold" (album version) (box set, features alternate mixing)
45. The Door (album version) (box set, entirely new mixing)
46. The Wedding (album version) (features some alternate orchestrations and missing the entire mid-section music of the scene)
47. Travel Music Pt. 3 (Bike Ride) (alternate) (alternate orchestrations, shorter than album version)
48. Travel Music Pt. 3 (Bike Ride) (album version) (alternate orchestrations)
