Music and Effects track from the UK Bluray release (Masters Of Cinema, June 2012).
Minimized effects and improved poor sound quality by adjusting volume, making tiny cuts which didnt effect the music, and cannibalizing identical cues without effects. Any defects heard will be from the source.
"Radio Music" diegetic cue heard when Walter confronts Phyllis at the climax. Dehissed two cues (#7+8). Because this can cause artifacts, the original versions are also included for those who prefer hiss, or to correct for themselves.
For whatever reason, the M&E used two different cues (#14+15) than what was used in the English language version. Because the M&E was used for foreign language dubs, non-English versions have these substituted cues. The only way to hear the original music is from the film itself, and the two scenes are included at the end, but of course have dialog.
Style and themes similar to Rozsa's other noir music, and future scores such as THE POWER. Dominated by 2-3 motifs, with several touches to keep it interesting.
30 tracks, 60 minutes. 320 mp3.
