This is my all-time favourite Reed's album since i've heard it 20 years ago.

I shed many tears for Lou Reed yesterday. When I saw it on Yahoo! news, I was in denial. The report was from Rolling Stone and I thought to myself "pshh, what the hell does Rolling Stone know?" I didn't believe it. And then I saw reports from The Daily News, Huffington Post and a few others. Then it hit me. Lou Reed, Godfather of Punk - was gone. I was so distraught. I listened to Reed and The Velvet Underground the rest of the day. I still am, actually. Listening to "Pale Blue Eyes" right now, one of my Velvet favorites. Petros, thank you very much for the share. It will never ever fill the void, but it will help me grieve. Thanks. :)

I like your avatar. That album produced so many great songs including Walk on the Wild Side, Perfect Day & Satellite of Love. Not to mention Vicious.

I don't know why, but I used to prefer "Berlin" since my teens.
Maybe because there is melancholy in every melody.

I like all the songs from TVU&N least the last two of that album. Still my favorite album is their third, "The Velvet Underground".
