Hey guys,
Great to have a forum like this, and I thank in advance anyone who can help me with this question.
I'm looking for film scores that have a majestical, magical quality to them. Because this track fits the bill quickly, and better than any one I can think of, I'm using this (James Horner's Universal Pictures fanfare from back in the day): Universal Pictures' 75th Anniversary Fanfare (1990-1998) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U5PRs7M6vQ)
This also kind of gets the same mood (it's the music from the trailer for Barry Sonnenfeld's Pushing Daisies TV series): PUSHING DAISIES - PROMO Season 1 - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbIJaLOWCbw)
BUT -- what I'm going for is anything similar, and scores that I can think of that have similar qualities are the Back to the Future films, *maybe* some of Danny Elfman's earlier stuff (like Beetlejuice), but the above 2 links (especially the Horner track) are what I'm looking for in a nutshell.
THANKS SO MUCH in advance for any suggestions.
