Yeah they MIGHT be coming today. I’ve been sick the last few days and haven’t been on my laptop since the day the trailer released publicly.
The reason though I MIGHT be uploading them today is because I got a ton of PM’s from angry users who got mad at me for not uploading them the day I said I would. So I might not just to piss off those inconsiderate users. I have a life outside of posting things here, plus I was sick. If I do decide not to post them, I’ll be sure to PM users I know who were looking forward to them and wasn’t rude or impatient with me.
On another note, Ive also been getting a ton of PM’s with requests of which trailer stems I should upload next.

I will upload the stems I want to upload, when I want to. Plus most of the stems you guys are requesting I don’t have available since it predates 2013, or the studio already took them down.
Man, what jerks. That’s why I’m always wary whenever I start doing stuff that require multiple uploads (like my Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Spectacular Spider-Man threads) – you never know if people will thank you or demand more.

Not a second version/edition per say, more like a re-release. Just with a different cover. The first release had a cover with a Easter like tone, this one has a Christmas tone cover.

Yup. But I haven’t downloaded it yet. All of the trailers are around 2-5 Gigs each! So they take some time do download… I also think the film will be great! Especially since its from the same directors of 21 Jump Street. I fucking loved that movie!

I never did rip and send out the Captain America: The Winter Soldier stems ever since I found out that the music track and the SFX track were mix into one mono track… 🙁

Well that was the first time I had encountered it, but I have found it in other trailers since. But its very rare. It’s one of the reasons why I didn’t upload the stems for American Hustle.

No one has complained to me about it…yet. I know I’m gonna get a slew of PM’s of users mad at me for not posting. But most of the people who were pissed at me for not posting the stems for CA2 and XMDOFP had mentioned that "You Better Not This For Interstellar!".

tsk tsk… Will people never learn. The problem is the way the "younger" generation is/was raised. No discipline, no consequences for bad/rude/disrespectful behavior. They have been (and are continuing to be) spoiled beyond belief. They seem to believe they have the right to have whatever they want. Unfortunately, that is not how life works. But these younger people seem to not realize that. Luckily I was raised by "old school" parents who knew to teach me how to be polite, and deal with disappointment without whining. When someone releases a recording session or a complete score, people will always say "i hope", "i wish", "would be nice to see…", etc.
They always imply what is "needed" next.

I’m always so amazed every time I go to add to the collection and find out there’s already so much there.
A "trailer stem" is a section of the audio heard (in this case) during a trailer. So just for a simple example, stem 1 might be SFX, stem 2 might be dialogue, and 3 might be music. So when you download, you get to listen to just the music, or just the SFX (etc …).

I know. All they have up there now is B-Roll for "May the 4th"/Star Wars Day, and the J.J. Abrams Force for Change video that went up earlier today. Hopefully though Disney will post the trailer a couple days early for the press like they did for Maleficent, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Million Dollar Arm, and more recently, Guardians of the Galaxy and Cinderella.

Now that I think about it, this is kinda odd that they have the press campaign up so early. In the past, Disney only put up the campaign a couple days or right on the day they start marketing the film. Makes me wonder if they are gonna give us some "Sneak Peeks" or teases throughout production.
But then again this is J.J. Abrams were talking about here, hes always so secretive that I doubt he would want Disney to do that…. then again we had that creature show up in his Force for Change video so IDK?!

Not sure about Gravity, but I thought Inception was purely Nolan? Adapted screenplay is based on something else….what were these films based on?

No. Home consumers will only have access to these if someone like hack3rman decides to share anything he has access to.
And his access will be different from others who have similar access.
Largely due to international copyrights and licensing, some may have stems with music/sfx/dialogue all separated, some may get full mixes in stereo or surround sound.
Access is extremely limited and heavily invested upon request.
You can apply to media access sites, but it’s very unlikely you or I will be granted permission to browse, let alone download anything.
They’re for very serious applicants who have actual cause to apply.
Hack3man downloads trailers that are "studio" quality, mianly designed to be used in cinema theaters (preceeding feature films).
These formats can easily be converted to various formats for video streaming (youtube, vimeo, yahoo videos, apple, etc; media sites that like to host their own streamable trailers).
This means the audio is easily obtainable and convert…able. Converted-able… transcodeable.
That’s what he does.
However, I’ve experienced in some forums dedicated to trailers, those who have access to the studio trailers, may come across some that are encrypted and can only be decrypted in the cinemas (most notably, 4K versions of trailers are encrypted).
Since the target audience for the studio trailers is extremely limited, there’s no market for software to bypass these encryptions, and most likely, never will be.

You’re both right James P. Sullivan (Or should I call you Sully? 😉 ) and TheSkeletonMan. I post trailer stems that I enjoy and think a lot of other users here would enjoy as well. If I Stay certainly isnt one Im interested in nor do I think the majority of users here would enjoy it. So that’s automatically a no go. Also, another reason why I ask for No Requests, is the fact that the files for the trailers are HUGE! The quality of the trailers that are posted are beyond Blu-Ray. Most trailers go around 1.2 – 5 gigs each! (And thats using the lowest quality option…). So it takes time to download each trailer and extract the audio from them.So that also limits what I post.
Then there’s what has already been mentioned here… I don’t have access to all trailers in stem format. Most of the trailers have stems, but some studios only post trailers in stereo. So that limits what I post…
Then there the dickheads who not only request, but then demand they want stems for a trailer… Then I dont post them just to piss them off. Making the stems exclusively for the Trailer Stems Group I’ve created about a month or so ago. For example, the last batch I gave to the group had all the previous stems I cut off publicly (EX: X-Men: Days of Future Past) and then I added stems from the 3rd Hobbit film trailers. Don’t bother asking to join the group, already full of users I want in it. And dont ask who is in it either! If you are a member of the group and you are reading this, please do not publicly post that you are part of the group.

I only have access to trailers for films that are coming up or currently in theaters. Then they are gone a couple of weeks after they’re gone from theaters…

I was hoping so too… But when Disney posted the trailer this past Thursday, they didn’t post a stem version… So as of right now, I don’t have it. 🙁 but this has happened in the past. They wouldn’t post the stem version, then a couple months later, they’re posted.

Part of the issue I think is that this was supposed to be a nice thing hack3rman was doing for everyone. Now it’s a huge deal for all the wrong reasons, since he gets all sorts of dumbasses out of the woodworks sending him messages like this:

Remember that guy? I still can’t believe the complete rudeness of it all myself. I imagine the guys PMing him try to be more suave about their request, but all in all what used to be a favor is becoming more and more of a hassle. His time downloading, uploading, and sharing the stems here translates to a lot of mean-spirited PMs sent by people hoping to take advantage of his generosity.
Since it’s been so long since hack3rman shared any stems, I’d assumed that he’s just given up due to all the shit he got from it all; I’m (happily) surprised to see he wants to keep moving forward with the stems despite that. It shows a lot of character from him.
And to the aforementioned rude leechers reading wishing that they did have the Captain America 2, X-Men, and Interstellar stems (to name a few examples of non-shared stems) – to you it seems like hack3rman’s a meanie who won’t give you enough music, but the fact that he shared them at all, and wants to continue doing so, is proof that he’s a lot more generous and kind than you’ll ever be. And no offense hack3rman, and this probably wouldn’t be the best solution either..but why don’t you just put the members on your ignore list that request stems, so that they can’t request anymore, that way you can still post whatever stems you please, but not have the stress of people constantly messaging you requesting stems. Now I know that putting them on your ignore list they may eventually get the stems anyways, but you can post whatever stems you want on here, and you are not obligated to post any. I think it’s the best solution to this issue, it would make the problem at hand way smaller and I think you would not be as upset because the people requesting, or threatening, stems wouldn’t be able to contact you in any way for them, privately of course. But, whatever you post on here, those people on your ignore list would still be able to grab and download them, but it shouldn’t be a problem since you only post on here what you want to and you wouldn’t be bothered by any of them requesting things from you anymore. No one has ever posted material like this publicly anywhere on the internet, as far as I can tell, and you all blew it. We’ll never see something like this again. hack3rman gave you all more than enough chances to not be rude, demanding, grabby trolls, and this is the result.
If we’re lucky, someone might share copies of those two trailers in 5.1, and I might be able to rip the music relatively cleanly, but thanks to all you assholes here we likely won’t ever be able hear the untainted, SFX-less tracks.

Anyway I just went through the last pages, it happened the usual thing, someone pissed off the original poster and project ended. A pity, indeed.
The funny thing is that sometimes trolls even get paid to annoy releasers, by those who want them to stop doing their stuff. Unfortunately, they won again.

Hack made it clear he’s not sharing or re-upping anymore.
As per usual modding of closing retired or abandoned threads, the last known mirror gets moved and the original thread must die.
This will prevent further discussion in a dead thread.

There must be balance here.
I’m taking iniative to go ahead and close it.
