I was wondering if anyone could help me on that.

I'm desperately looking for a way to contact Nicholas Hooper. He doesn't have a webpage nor any details are available anywhere...

Maybe there's someone here who could advise me on that or point me in the right direction at least.

I am wondering the same thing as a matter of fact, but for many different composers...

I have figured that it is almost impossible to contact composers if you don't know people who are very close to the composers.

Contacting music editors (for example on Linkedin) is an option that I have tried many times but with no result...

If you are in luck they can direct you to people who are close to the composer or perhaps the composer him/herself

Good Luck:)

If there's no info on official sites or social sites, your best bet is to maybe try contact his agency.

But even that wouldn't yield much results.
Usually the agency websites will only reply to serious inquiries, like another business.
They won't usually answer fans, but at most will just answer with a formal apology that can't assist you (probably due to legal reasons).

I've tried to ask Carter Burwell about why the blu-ray to The Corruptor didn't get an isolated score or an upgrade to blu-ray audio.
I couldn't ask him directly as he stated he won't be answering certain questions.
On his site, he has a FAQ page about what you can ask him and what he will answer and whom to better ask (based on the nature of the question).

I asked a long time ago and got no response from his team, so I take it they're only interested in certified, licensed business inquiries.

If you got IMDb Pro, you can look at the "Contact Info" link for his profile.
Nicholas Hooper - IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0393781/)

It doesn't look very promising.

There are composers on Facebook you can add as a friend.
But if they're real that's one thing, if they even bothered to join at all is another.

Note that on Facebook, they may be inclined to not give any real answers as most things are out of their control as well.

Do you mean Jody Gray and Andy Ezrin? Here's a link to the former's portfolio: Jody Gray Portfolio (http://www.jodygray.com/portfolio.htm)

I've gotten comments from original composers on YouTube from my drum covers. Shinichi Sakamoto who composed the music from the Wonder Boy series, Matt Furniss who has done a plethora of music for Sega games and even Andrew Bertoni who did the music from Who's That Flying?!

I see a lot of composer have twitter accounts these days, and blogs. Some fan sites sometimes have ways to get info too. But, if they do not put any contact info, you're probably out of luck.

Yes, with Hooper you ARE out of luck. I wrote to that agency twice, wrote to music editors, not even an apology or anything like that. Agencies have egos to prevent them from helping poor fans, and Wrner Bros is bearing down on everyone to make sure nothing happens because they have all the FUCKING rights to everything... So don't get your hopes up.

I guess anyone who wants some complete score from that label would have a serious vendetta against WB. They keep everything to themselves.

Ahhh wait, sorry, they released Matrix Reloaded complete score after 10 years. Nope, again sorry, not them - La La Land did.

Yet, LLL would not have been able to release it, if WB had not given them the OK.

Hence the WB logo atop recent Complete Score Releases (Rosewood, Black Beauty etc.)

I'll get a counsellor if WB funds the therapy lol, or if they just do what dozens of people want them to do, that would give them loads of money and the counsellor wouldn't be necessary at all.

Their a professional industry for other professionals.

That was the same case with Carter Burwell.
It's not ego; it's too many legalities involved preventing them from maintaining a healthy relationship with their fans.

It's more like trying to pet the cute puppy that's aiding the person on the other end when the vest clearly says not to pet the cute puppy.

Just don't when the signs are obvious.

I like this option.

"Don't like The Matrix isolated score still being in AC3/2.0? Here you go. Your free counselor. The door."
