I've seen some bootlegs before of this.

One had just the retail score while the second disc was hunted down tracks for a "various artist" album.
I think one version I saw had some demos or something?
Also a lot of fanedits too.

Everyone should go to Intrada forums and join the thread for requesting a complete score to this.

Oops It's complete in 128kb mp3 format. I got it from somewhere else so honestly I'm not sure how CD dead accurate it is. Every music cue from the movie is in there and I've seen it multiple times. lol Wow you guys take your job really serious. I'm just trying to help not start a record company ;) I'll try to be more thorough next time in what it is.

19-24 are all source music. So basically, 5-17 is Predator 2 score. That's 13 tracks totaling about 48 minutes, while the OST had 11 tracks totaling about 45 minutes. Doesn't seem like that would make this a complete score, unless a lot of music was tracked into other scenes.

No offense, but this is after all a forum for varying degrees of score collectors and for most of them it's interesting to know if this contains something new that they don't have. And not that i care, but there are also quite a few that are picky when it comes to formats and quality. And as you could see in the link, there are recommended guidelines :)

If its really 128kbps MP3, then its probably not accurate at all. In fact, (As it is in most case of Bootlegs), by the time you got it in 128kbps MP3, it was probably transcoded a few times between different bitrate, so its probably not even close to CD quality.

It sounds fine to me. Then again, I'm no audiophile, so I don't get hung up over all this lossless/lossy/whatever stuff, which frankly I still don't completely understand. Might be a few places where the volume is a tad lower than I would like, but otherwise I'm playing it right now and it sounds fine to my ears. Maybe not completely CD quality, but it's definitely not bad to me.

I agree about that. I would prefer La-La Land. Intrada still occasionally irks me with sequencing decisions.

And the enclosed inlay image shows this was from a two-disc boot including the first film, and "Long Tall Sally" was the first track on CD 2, so it apparently just got carried over.

I had this. There is NO new music. The tracks are sequenced to film-ish order and split from longer cues. There is a TON of music from the film not on this. This indeed was disc 2 of a 2 disc set. Disc 1 for the first film had nothing new either, though to be fair, this was around BEFORE the official releases were.

And then sold on a site that often has these things being labeled as official, or Anniversary limited what-nots. It is a scam site, yet it persists. I had the whole set, and dumped it. Just like the previous "Poltergeist II" complete bootleg that was offered on ebay from a UK seller (before the latest true expansion), this one is a fake. Putting 'complete' and 'limited edition' on your booklet or cover art doesn't mean it's the actual case. This title is owned by Varese in perpetuity, meaning they are the only ones who have the rights to expand it. Let's hope they do so, and crap bootlegs like the one in this thread wont prevent it from happening. You're better off just listening to the album version than this chopped up mess.

Uuuummm actually there are quite a few unreleased tracks on this. If you downloaded it you would know ;). The TWO DISC set contained FULL scores to both films. ALL of the music is in the tracks. They were editted into the film later at key point action cues. I only included P2's content. The picture I included was a QUICK grab from google and is not the actual content of the file. Sorry about that!

BTW: I am a movie score FANATIC and if I say something I release has EVERY note of score USED in the film believe it's there up to 99% accuracy. ;) The only exception is a music cue that is editted into a scene to make it sound different BUT it's just reused music. ;)

I DID download. I had it AGES ago and there are no new tracks It has a SHORTER running time than the odt. The ost combined tracks into suites, and THIS set split those suites back into tracks and renamed them. It is also in chronological order. That is ALL it is. I know, because I and about a dozen other members have thoroughly examined this. It is NOT all the music, it is missing quite a lot. I'd say 1'4 to 1/2.
