Feeling “emotionally hurt” (http://www.gamespot.com/news/jj-abrams-emotionally-hurt-by-latest-star-trek-game-6414426) about the epic fail of a game? Want to scream in earnest agony at the developers: DIGITAL EXTREEEEEEMES just like Captain Kirk (or in the reboot universe…Spock)? Get the one thing that’s actually good from Star Trek: The Video Game:

The “Captain’s Edition” title is in honor of the collector’s edition that never was. It was announced in 2011 that the PS3 version of the game was to get a collector’s edition with a phaser rifle Playstation Move controller. In addition, for a limited time, StarTrek.com had small statues of the Gorn Commander which I’m pretty sure that was also supposed to be included with the would-be package.
Track Listing:
1. Brains and Brawn (Main Titles)
2. Fistcuffs and Bishops
3. Bridge over Troubled Stations
4. Dilapidated Station
5. Solar Flares
6. Wake Up Call to Scotty
7. Escape from Helios One
8. Rough Landing
9. Assignment: Helios
10. Closing Rip
11. To The Transporter
12. The Trouble With Tricorders
13. First Contact (Brute Boss)
14. Helios in the Wrong Hands
15. Phasers on Stun
16. Not-So-Peaceful Vulcans
17. Taking it Outside (Skiff Battle)
18. The Gorn Identity
19. Don't Feel Like Talking Anyway (Enterprise Combat)
20. Power Down Mr. Sulu/Regroup
21. Starbase Operating Procedure
22. Did Anything come Through?
23. Condition: Re-Re-Re-Red
24. "Reducing" Them Softly
25. The Biolabs
26. Daniels Flees the Gorn's Den
27. They Were Expendable Redshirts
28. Show Our Guests The Door
29. The Last Stronghold
30. T'Mar Is Kidnapped
31. An Unwanted Visitor
32. No Security
33. Cornered in the Crew's Quarters
34. The Lieutenant Strikes Back
35. Hunter or Hunted
36. Decloak And Dagger
37. No Words For Peace

41. Crash Landing/We Come In Peace/Earn Your Wings
42. Wingsuiting
43. Merciless Creatures
44. Captured
45. The Gorn Supremacy (Arena Battle Suite)
46. Kirk Vs. Spock
47. Amok Gorn
48. Bones Saves The Day
49. Taking Back the Enterprise
50. Set Phasers To Frag
51. Keenser Found
52. Hospital, Not A Shooting Range
53. Rescue Uhura/I'll Give You Control
54. Breaking and Entering
55. Hazard Team of Two
56. Towering Inferno
57. The Gorn Ultimatium
58. Get The Gorn, Get The Girl, Get Out of There
59. Brains and Brawn (Reprise)
60. Prelude to Darkness (Epilouge)
BONUS TRACKS
61. The Shuttle Shuffle (Unused)
62. Sun Flares (Soundcloud Version)
63. Helios One (Soundcloud Version)
64. T'Mar Is Kidnapped (Soundcloud Version)
65. Wingsuiting (Soundcloud Version)
66. The Gorn Ultimatum (Soundcloud Version)
67. Detected Stinger
68. Enterprise Theme Suite
69. Symphony for the Stars (Star Trek Video Game Suite)
Most of the game was uncompressed audio (sweet!) while some of the tracks I needed to play the game to get (so you don't have to). The Last two bonus tracks are medleys that I did to have some fun with the raw music file and I hope you like them. You'll need to probably play the game to fully understand where I was going with the direction though. That also goes for the titles of the tracks too. Some you may recognize from an older and far superior Star Trek game, TOS episodes, and maybe a few pop culture references (including an infamous pop singer; can you find it?).
Special thanks to "Banelorr" for the title "Trouble With Tricorders", very special thanks to Chad Seiter who gave us a score as good (if not better) as Michael Giacchino's scores, and a very very special No-Thanks to Digital Extremes to making a really, really terrible game...honestly, that was the WORST Star Trek game I beat (the other two I didn't even get close to finishing).
