Hello everyone,
I know this is most likely the wrong section for this, but really don't care since I'm pretty sure the correct section for this topic probably doesn't get much traffic.
I wanted to ask you ripping professionals which application is best for ripping a CD in FLAC format. I bought an anime CD that I want to share with folks here, but since I've never gone through the process of ripping a CD in this format, hopefully you guys can provide some good tips and recommendations.
Thanks.

If you browse the HydrogenAudio forums, you'll see a lot of topics on DAE (Digital Audio Extraction) and issues concerning: speed, accuracy, settings.
Most of the mods/admins there detest most guides they find online at other places and say most people enable too many options that have no real benefit for the type of DAE we're doing with individual gaps and whatnot.
For instance, that guide with its settings for the drive (if you are able to use "Accurate Stream" & "cache"), then you don't need to do a "Test & Copy".
Test is most useful with other settings and doing single-image files.
You can just go straight to Copy files.
But EAC is the go-to (for PC).
(MAC and Linux... :itsamystery:)
You only have to set it up once and then just scan each CD for gaps/silences, test on those gaps/silences and create the .cue file.
Logs should be created automatically (pay attention to settings! ADD CRC to log!!!!) so no need to create a second log for nothing when extraction is finished.

The very elusive Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds Sound Duel 3. It's impossible to find it in anything higher than 192kbps mp3.
Thanks for all the info, guys. I will get cracking on this possibly Monday when I get back from the weekend.
