Well I checked and couldn't find a thread similar to this.
Basically I was just curious as to what everyone's favourite/most useful cards were.

My hand I use is:
Seifer,
Edea,
Squall,
Diablos,
Irvine.

Edea
Quistis
Seifer
Squall
Zell
Edea's card gives you a nice advantage at the start if you place in the bottom left corner so that card is my favourite

I haven't collected all the cards, but from the ones I had when I played FFVIII (plan to replay it during spring break and get all the cards):

-Edea. Like Omni said, you place it in the bottom left corner and you're almost guaranteed that it will never flip. (only thing I dislike about this card is that in the rare cases where it does flip, Edea's face is so big you can't see the background color change.)

-Diablos

-Odin

-Brothers

-Minotaur

-Seifer

I like cards where the good values work in corners. Cards where the good values are across from each other (IIRC Quistis' and Zell's cards are like this), I find are very hard to use.

Gilgamesh. Not because its good in a Card Game, but because it refines into 100 Heroes, which can also be refined into 10 Holy War Trials

Brothers
Minotaur

Seifer
Sacred
Minotaur
Edea
Quistis
Laguna xD

All the character cards are fairly good and strong except rinoa's sometimes......
The level 9 GF cards are also good enough to get used sometimes ;)

Well, for me

Seifer
Edea
squall
Eden
Zell
Minotaur

I always use this card and 100% wins, great isn't it?:D
