I love the whole damn game. ; ;
Some of my favorite parts are the opera scene, Celes' suicide attempt, and the "Forever Rachel" scene.

If you ever do perform that, be sure to tape it, and get it online one way or another.
That's not something I'd want to miss. ;)

Deffinately when Cyan and Sabin are on the ghost train. You get a ghost in your party, Sabin eats food prepared by dead people, and once you get off and Cyan sees his family getting on the ghost train that has to be one of the most emotional parts of any game I've ever played.

All you have to do is go to sleep in an inn with Shadow in your party.
His character's whole backstory is in his dreams. There are 5 of them in total.

The Ghost Train, Locke as an Imperial Trooper Officer, Every part with Kefka, And all the "tender moments" with Rachel, Daryl, etc. Oh, and Celes. That suicide attempt makes me wanna cry. The ending is the best, I think. It's all so great!!

I loved the whole game! The opera scene was one of my favorites, and if you let Cid die, that part's pretty sad, too. The suicide scene was done so well! I think the part that really moved me the most was when Doma was poisoned, and Cyan realized he lost his family. It was really crushing! I just thought about how it would be if I was hanging out with someone and suddenly everyone was dying left and right, and I'd come to the sickening conclusion that everyone I ever loved was gone. I'd be pissed as fuck.
Or dead, too, cuz I drink water like a fish. :-[

When Kefka poisons the river, and Cyan's family dies. Man, that was a sad part.
Kefka is truely evil:D

I have one question. Who here LOVES Shadow?! WHO?! WHO?! Well, I am greatfully happy that I am a Shadow fan. I love the whole get-back-the-mercenary-for-free-and-never-lose-him-ever-again quest. Just the fact that I can use him for another battle thrills me up inside. I also like when you're in the Phantom Train and when you have the choice to eat, the scene where you see Sabin eat the crap out of the ghosts' meal, put Shadow in the top and let him eat. You'll see him giving Intercepter some food.

The death of General Leo scene. It was so sad and emotional, which makes it not exactly the most likable scene but I still love it because of its power.

I cannot remember this 'suicide attempt' from Celes. Can someone please refresh me? (I don't want to start a whole new game just to remind myself)

I'm going to have to say every single part of the game involving Edgar and/or Sabin. They're just the two most awesome characters in video game history.

There's a few:
Right after you get the airship in the WOB, flying towards Vector...
The Forever Rachel scene...
The first trip to Zozo!
Invading Cyan's dreams...
Cave Of The Espers

i have a bunch of favs, the big empire castle part where you talk to all the soldiers, when you go to thamasa i love that town, the cave of the espers and then the floating continent. the Atam Weapon battle (ultima or Ultimate Weapon) and the battle with the goddeses and kefka are the best battles in all of final fantasy

The opera scene was probably one of the best sequences I've ever played in a game... despite the fact that I failed three times when I first played it. XD First I had no idea what you were supposed to do after choosing Celes' lines (Oh... you go UP THE STAIRS. Gotcha...) and then Ultros killed my boys... twice. Heh.
I also love getting the Falcon for the first time, becuase the music as you're coming up out of the ocean is totally amazing.
The Phoenix Cave is also one of my favorite dungeons in any Final Fantasy game, and Locke getting the Phoenix summon was a really touching story. Once I got three characters to learn the Phoenix summon's magic, I gave it back to Locke and it never left his hands again. Heh-heh.
