In this version Cloud never gets over his mako addiction and is confined to a wheelchair. You finish the game with Tifa.

In this versoin Aeries comes back to life (I Don't remember quite how) and is carrying Cloud's baby.

Tifa kills herself at the end of the movie in greif that Aeries is with Cloud and she could never have him

Okay let me explain this. You know that if you don't give the moonstone to whatshisname and you can't continue the game. Well there are certain side-missions in FF7 where if you take them you go on a different path. He said that if you do some of the side missions you find Aeries walking down the street in the same place as the beginning movie. She doesn't remember you but through the game as she goes with you she gets her memory back.

why? because there's no way you could get to the 8sector ,earis is death and if don't belive it get over it ,if get earis you get the holy materia the game will have a different end and the meteor won't fall,earis having a son from cloud??? tell your friend that if he is the one who wants to have a son from cloud because they didn't met each other months ago how could they know that she's got a son from cloud? think you make nosense

Yeah sorry mate, but like what was said, this happening would stuff up FFVII:AC for the japanese

I have played a good part of FF7 in JPN including the International version. Including all of what Chris MacDonald said (Rest in Peace Bro) in his FF7 FAQ which was for the Japanese version and one of the first for FF7, I can completely, absolutely, declare this as false information.

The hole thing is crap. The Japanese is different, but not that different to the others. :(

Is�s the same story, but the Japanese version has a few more parts in it. And these extra parts don�t change a whole story. ;)

And like some have mentioned it already.....it wouldn�t make sence to FF-AC. :rolleyes:

To list some differences.

There were 3 main versions of FF7 (the rest are considered a branch of the US version). There are two Japanese versions (Regular and International) and there was the US version.

The original Japanese did not have some of the WEAPONs (Ruby and Emerald) and some materia were locked out (Such as the Underwater materia, it wasn't accessable in the JPN version.)

The international Japanese included everything that was in the US and added a 4th Disc which was an bonus disc that listed out all the items and stuff. It even had a video of the phases of FF7 and some images.

I found exactly what was on the forth disk.

Overview of 4th disc
- Stats of all your heroes
- Stats of all your enemies, bosses, weapon bosses (ruby, emerald, diamond, ultimate) & of course Shinra members
- Stats of all weapons for each hero
- All item information
- All materia stats
- Concept art etc
- World map & all locations which you can click on & find out info about (in come locations there are movies too)
- Movies of all heroes Ultimate Limit Break
- Movies of all summon attacks
- All vehicles & you can move it around to see it from all angles & also to hold the circle button to start up the vehicle

I don�t know. You probably don�t get them at all. I don�t know about the items you usually get in Calm, either. :(

All I heard is, they created Ruby and Emerald for all the others, to make it a little harder. ;)

They're items not required for the actual game itself. More bonus items. Like the Underwater materia really isn't required bar with the fight against Emerald: It's just pieced in there to give you an added advantage against the Green One.

Okay, as some mentioined, there is not big difference between Japanese version of FF7 and the others, I'm talking about the basic storyline. You can't get Aeris back at all, she died and Cloud won't get himself back? He'll fight Sephiroth on Wheelchair?
THose Bull$hit make me really sick, ask your friend why he is pulling you leg.

Yes, you can't fight weapons except for Ultima weapon, neither you can fight Diamond weapon, it just gets blown by the Sister Ray( I think it is how it gets killed, not 100%sure though)

I think the reason they put 2 hard weapons in the other versions is obviously to make some bonus entertainment for players who wish to defeat hard bosses, cause the whole gameplay is really easy. Actually it did work well, I really liked the battles.

There are a few more different things between J-version and the others. J-version has got high rate at which you encounter enemies, how long it takes to learn each limit breakes, the average amonut of experience points which you can get by killing monsters, etc..... I think the biggest difference is with Chocobuckle. THe original one does the damage based on the caluculation; the times you hava ran away times what level you are, but in the others it damages just the times you have ran away.

In addtion, I'll tell you something however I haven't really wanted to say it.....

In J-FF7, in fact you can have Aeris in your party all the way to the end, by using some bug system. If you change Final Fntasy 7's disc to a specific CD when you are on the world map, the whole screen gets fuzzy and the parts of the world get jagged, there'll be the way to go anywhere, so if you get to the place that Aeris dies before Aeris leaves your party, the weird thing's gonna happen. You see Aeris gets killed by Sephiroth while Aeris in in your party.

I think there is a disc which can cause the bug even in the other versions, however I haven't tried any. By the way, the disc that I used was Sagafrontier.
