as far as I know, an OST hasn't even been announced yet. but since it's Basiscape i'm sure one will be released by the end of this year.

i am very noob in rip games of ps3.......i have the game in my computer and i tried to extract the music and i cant do it.... because is just 1 file....i mean in others games have more folders o directly the folder of the music but this game have all the files compress.....

I think there's only a chance of doing a very time consuming line-in recording of all tracks with sfx disabled (if possible). Or we just have to wait for the official soundtrack, which will likely be released within the next months (odins sphere's ost was released 5 months later).

Not sure yet. I've done music rips before but this is different. I'm going to have to research some. I'll have the adapter probably tomorrow or day after, so I'll keep people updated if they're interested. I'll probably get beaten to it, but that really won't change my desire to do it.

As far as I know (at least with line-in recordings) the best option would be to actually get a game capture device like the Elgato and record the raw audio output sent directly from the game console into WAV.

That's probably the closest you can get to getting any decent high quality audio if the actual files themselves cannot be decoded.

3.5 Male to male jack recordings actually cutoff around the 16kHz mark in spectral analysis and audible interference is captured as well.

I'd love to get my hands on this one as well. Such amazing music throughout. I'll definitely get whatever edition comes with the most extras because some OSTs deserve the treatment!!

Hey everyone. I'm putting the Dragons' Quest UOST (currently user-made, pulling songs from the game itself) up on YouTube. Just check the Materiablue channel if you all want them. I work full time but am trying to put up a couple every few days. Please don't constantly pester me with "I'm a leecher why aren't more songs up," because you COULD always just go back to posting about how you wish someone else would do it because you don't want to in the forums. It's tough enough as is, I don't want more stress.
So far I have 17 songs up and will be doing the rest over the next 2-3 weeks. If you have a specific one feel free to ask for it's priority in the comments section or in a mail over YouTube.
PLEASE do not ask for anything here, I will NEVER EVER CHECK THIS WEBSITE AGAIN. I just made the account to post and give you all some hope. When (if) the OST if ever formally released then I highly suggest you all buy it to support the team who made it. Free music is nice, but without money it wouldn't be made in the first place; so keep the cash flow going and do what you personally can.

I don't get why people who upload to Youtube don't share the audio on places like this. Youtube converts the uploads and further lowers the already degraded quality.

I've checked Hitoshi Sakimoto (http://vgmdb.net/artist/112) on VGMdb as well his official english page, but there's nothing about the official ost coming out. Isn't that too long for an OST to be released?

I had the chance to meet Sakimoto last october in Paris at the Vagrantes M�lodies concert (http://www.wayorecords.net/sakimoto/#5), and when I made him sign my copy of Dragon's Crown I asked him if an OST would be released. He assured me it would come out in 2014.

I think we have to be patient. Odin's Sphere's OST was released months after the game... and Opoona's official soundtrack came out years after the game's release !

What method did you use?

Track 36 "Wraith/Kraken" seems to start in the middle of the track. Not at the beginning of the track like other rips i've heard. The start of the track is at 46 seconds into the track.
