I know a few shriners out there play D&D on a regular basis.
So tell me... If you're currently in a campaign, tell us about it. The story, monsters you've fought, etc... ALSO, tell US about the character that you're currently playing. Name, class/lvl, race, HP, weapon of choice, and armour. :D

I'm DM, so I don't have a character... but I will tell about our campaign, and our characters.
Characters:
Saraphina Tealeaf (Goes by UserName on the shrine)
Halfling Sorceress
She uses a shortbow at long distances and a staff at close range. She is known to cast Acid Arrow, Magic Missles, Burning Spray, and sometimes can even summon monsters that are actually above her sorcery capabilities... she's not sure how she is able to do it yet.
She is in her 2nd month of pregnancy. She lived with her husband in a small halfling village, but when the village was sacked by orcs, a half-orc invaded their home, killed her husband and raped her. It is with his child she is pregnant with now.
Stanley (Zachron from the shrine)
Human Bard
He uses a longsword at close range and a crossbow at long range. He is the cynic of the group and questions the groups reasoning on everything, but is comes up with many good ideas. He also has a thing for pottery.
He and Aust first met many years ago, and they worked together to infiltrate an orc camp. They slaughtered the leaders and sent the camp scattering in all directions. They now have a great deal of trust for eachother.
Aust (Odin985 from the shrine)
Elf Thief/Ranger
Aust began life as a theif and as he grew older, he tried to leave this life of pickpocketing and breaking into houses behind him and enbrace nature and the arts of the ranger.
He is deadly with a longbow, and also skilled with a longsword. He is sort of the loner of the group and enjoys going out hunting animals for food or companionship.
Lia (Chellesue from the shrine)
Elf Cleric
She is a bit knew to the group and a lot is unknown about her right now. The group does not entirely trust her, but her healing skills are have been very helpful thus far. When she is at watch at night, while the others are sleeping, she enjoys weaving clothing.
ADVENTURE THUS FAR
The group were travelling seperately until they met in a town in the mountains that was rumored to be cursed and paying good money for adventurers to remove the curse. Some of them came for money, some for honor, some just because it was the right thing, but this is where it started.
Aust, Saraphina, Stanley, and a female dwarf fighter named Guidelle. When they got in the town they found out that the water source was cursed and causing the town to become sick, and many are dying. They travelled into the mines where the source of the water is, and after going through a large group of kobolds that were defending the place, they arrived at the watersource, where a half-orc cleric had cursed it with the blessing of his dark god Gruumsh. They killed the cleric and restored the water, and the town named them all heroes, and paid them well.
After this they decided to travel eastward to meet a potter that Stanley was interested in. On the way, they passed through the Town of Oldkeep. As they were entering the town, they noticed an Ettin: a two-headed giant. He slaughtered some livestock and ran off into the woods near the town. In the town the people told the group about how the giant had been attacking them nearly every day for the past couple of weeks. He had killed many people and destroyed a few houses. After asking around, they went to the local shrine of Heironious and the preist there told them about how the giant had been seen travelling around by night also, and that at night, he was attempting to sneak through the town without being seen and seemed frightened. After the group helps, that night, Aust sees the giant travelling to the town and follows him silently. The giant went to the shrine and Aust sees him praying to the good god of Heironious. The ettin then notices Aust and begins running into the woods. Aust follows him all the way to another abandoned town which they find out used to be populated by the current residents of Newkeep. They were driven out by a wizard many years ago. Eventually the group discovers that the giant is actually a cleric of Heironious and was punished by his god for being too merciless to his enemies. He was changed into an ettin, and his personality was split between the good preist as one head, and the merciless killer as the other. Eventually the good preist lost all control to the other head, and was only in control while the other was sleeping at night. The group was too late to save the ettin though, and a band of the Newkeep residents, kill the giant.
A couple days later, the group meets a young druid, and a cleric who are travelling through the town on their way to a dwarven stronghold, where there are supposedly great treasures, and very powerful magically dwarven built weapons. The two travellers ask the group to help them, and they agree. They leave the next day and travel through a forest on the way to their destination at a place called the Stone Tooth Mountain. On the way, Aust hears chanting off the path, and moves over to look. When he reaches the edge of a 200 ft. cliff he looks down and sees an army of thousands of orcs grouped around a single bigger orc who stands in the middle wearing full armor and what looks to be a skull of a large creature on his head as a helmet. The rest of the group comes over to watch, and they see the armored orc kill a bull and a black panther, and the spirits from the animals seem to rise up out of their bodies and go into the orc.
The orc then looks straight up at the group and disappears. He then reappears right next to the druid and pulls a great curved sword from his back. As the battle ensues, the group cannot seem to penetrate the orcs armor. The orc slices the druid in half, he throws Stanley off the cliff, and he smashes the Cleric's head in. He then stabs his sword through Guidelle and fire rushes forth from the hilt burning her body to ash. Aust takes off running through the woods, and Saraphina hides near a rock. The orc follows Aust. Aust climbs up a tree, and the orc slices right through the trunk, setting in on fire in the process. Aust rides the tree down but cannot get away from the orc, who headbutt's him, knocking him unconscious surrounded by the flaming forest. The orc finds Saraphina, picks her up, and removes his helmet, revealing a face that she recognizes: the face of her husbands killer, the face of the half-orc who raped her, the face of her baby's father. The orc tells her that she has something that belongs to him, and he will return to claim it. Then the orc leaves. Stanley was able to catch hold of the cliff and make his way down. His palms are now covered in scars. Saraphina was able to wake Aust and get him out of the forest. The group the retreated to Newkeep, but not before grabbing the map of the dwarven stronghold from the dead cleric.
After recovering, the group prepared to leave again for the dwarven stronghold. On the way, they met the elf cleric Lia, who immediately joined them to go to this stronghold. After many days of travel, they arrived at a town right next to the Stonetooth mountain. They gathered as much information as they could about the stronghold, but most of the people in the town say the stronghold is just a myth. Stanley and Saraphina develop a strange relationship in this town, when she stays overnight in his room at the inn.
They make their way up the mountain, and Aust notices a hidden path that seems as though someone tried to plant trees over it. They make their way up this path, and are bombarded by orcish arrows from arrowslits at the top. After dispatching the orcs, they make their way into the stronghold, which now seems to be infested with orcs, led by a feirce troll.
When we last left off, the group had just killed the troll, but had not found anything of interest inside the stronghold yet.

The game we're currently is called 'The Atoned'. My roomie is the DM for this campaign. About heaven, hell, and everything in between.
The way the game started was that we all started in Hell for one reason or another. And we all wanted to get out, so we formed a party. But in order to get out, we had to rescue an Angel and find one of the 4 horsemen, and eventually ended up in the Abyss where we had to rescue Isis for inside of Satan's dick. Its really weird, trust me and i'm probably forgetting a whole lot of stuff in between. But once we got out of hell, Time on earth had passed like 80 years. So we really didn't know anyone. And currently we're trying to destroy some sort of magical weapons because we think that'll stop the Apocolypse from happening.
Party members:
A half-orc barb/were-rat whose name is Hammer of Thor (we call him Thor for short and he's played my fiancee)
A Human Paladin named Durendal (Most of the group doesn't trust him and thinks he's batty for talking to God. Played by a co-worker)
A Human Wizard named Three (long story to that.. Played my the DM's cousin whose old character was slain by human slaying bolts)
A Drow Cleric named Deja (played by the DM's ex sister in law. Who really doesn't do much)
and my character....
Ursula Eblana, a Drow Rogue. She was outcasted from the other Drow for having Red hair and wanting to live in the outside world. Having to do what she had to just to survive, she learned the ways of a Rogue. Currently she has a sailing ship that she named The Carmina. And her weapon of choice is a +1 holy rapier.
