have you tried the SPC set of it? I can convert it to mp3 for you if you want.

No i haven't but that would be fantastic if it's not too much trouble!

You can easily do this yourself: have Winamp with the SNESamp (http://www.zophar.net/utilities/spc/snesamp.html) plug-in to play the .SPC set (http://www64.zippyshare.com/v/76940412/file.html) and do as you please afterwards.

If you convert to .wav, use Audacity or any other audio editor to add fade-outs, crop, and such.

winamp sucks at converting to mp3 if you're not using windows xp. foobar can do it faster and flawlessly.

Well, I still use XP, so...

Anyway, foobar is another option, I just have the tendency of recommending Winamp by default.

Are you talking about .. KDSD-00028~9 | Star Ocean Soundtrack - VGMdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/116) ?

In a way yeah, but he essentially wants the original sound, and that soundtrack only provides 12 tracks with the rest being "updated" versions.

I'm curious if you happen to have it, though, as I didn't see it in your collection.

ah, well in that case winamp's file conversion would work :P. but if you use vista, 7, or 8 it crashes anytime you try to convert to mp3. so you have to write to wav, (which doesn't save the metadata) then convert it to mp3. i use winamp as my media player, but foobar as my VGM converter/organizer. winamp 5 was released in what, 2003? wonder if there will ever be any major updates to it in the future...

anyway, illninja, here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/h5sv8dtmrxx6cui/Star%20Ocean.rar) is the spc set converted into mp3.

BOSS LADY

Yeah, 2003. And you know, I actually convert straight to .wav in order to edit the tracks, because I like to add proper fade outs and possibly make the entire set feel more kinda-like an official release.

I normally have 2 loops + 10 second fadeout on my vgm tracks. what do you consider a "proper fadeout"?

Stuff in my collection are things I just enjoy listening to, doesn't mean I can't get it though. Just keep in mind I have friends in very high places when it comes to VGM.

That's good. I was referring to the .spc sets in general, as I don't like the way they fade out and often transition to the next track, so that's what I meant by adding proper fade outs and such.

Yes, yes; I'm very much aware of that. You're pretty much like a goldmine.

And yes, I'm interested.

PM me with what you are looking for and I will try to get what you need (no guarantee), however I guarantee what is on my collection.
