I agree with you, raielias! The soundtrack of the 2013 version is too "modern", as all the Lurman films soundtracks. The Lp riping is wonderful and the sound is superb. Don't know why there's not a CD release...

This is a beautiful combination of score and songs, the latter with a true period 'feel,' but filtered through the great arranging mind of Nelson Riddle. Thanks so much.
