Couldn't find any informations about a movie called "Gypsies".

Is it possible, that this is no soundtrack at all, but rather just an
instrumental album "inspired" by what an argentine composer
living in the US thinks, what gypsy-life could be or feels like?

It's a jazz album, not a film score, there's even a Wiki entry:
