It was excellent. He was in a very good mood and there were a lot of famous friends of his there (we saw Derek Jacobi, Ruby Wax, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson (she was sitting next to us), Miriam Margolyes, etc).

I've met Pat a few times and this is the 3rd concert of his I have attended. (Glasgow, London and then Belfast last April). I also saw him play selected scores of his to about 20 people at the Glasgow Film Theatre in the late 1990s. I have met him at each concert and he is always happy to sign CDs, have a chat, etc. I believe his next concert is scheduled in Ghent in October: World Soundtrack Awards (http://www.worldsoundtrackawards.com/en) - are you going?

Principal Flute of the London Symphony Orchestra and author (http://www.garethdaviesonline.com/)) undertook a pre-show talk with Pat before the concert at the Barbican. It may be worth contacting him to see if the talk or concert was recorded in a formal capacity.

we all know why they dont legally record everything.
it would hurt the business more trying to pay everyone. theyd have to raise prices on us way more than usual to satisfy everyone.
