In what game? If you're talking about Final Fantasy VI (which I think is the only one where Mog is a playable character), i'm pretty sure you can name him.

Must be FFVI. I can't think of any other game that allows you to play with Mog. And in FFVI you could name every playable character, as far as I remember... :)

Actually, you can't name Umaro, can you? I don't remember being able to.

I'm positive you can name Mog though- he was my baby brother's favorite, so he always wanted me to name Mog after him.

I am almost 100% certain that FFVI's Mog character is male. I think they said in the game, however, just to be certain I will check.

Oh, and one fun thing about Mog is how before you got him in your party, he would sometimes show up and talk about what was happening with the plot.

Edit: I can't find anything in the script that proves Mog is male.

Im sure the mog out of FF-VI is male. If he was not, everybody would be able to see it. :)

Just like the two moogles in the mog-game in FF VII (at the Gold Saucer). You can see the difference between male and female there.... ;)

I thought mog was female - wasnt she looking after the kida in the cave???? And mogs dances are pretty useful, and well mog was just too cool not to use

i agree that mog is probably a guy. as for the lance look at freya. no more needs to be said there.

Aw, man, I thought you were asking about being able to name the other moogles in the cave. I was about ready to bust out with their names. :-[ In FF6, you can name Mog, as well as everyone else in the game. It's assumed it's a male moogle, but I don't think we ever really know for sure.

And please keep the off-topic chat to a minimum, unless it's something not-stupid, plz kthnx.

But, just so you know, the moogles' names are:<ul><li>Mog</li>
<li>Kuku</li>
<li>Kutan</li>
<li>Kupan</li>
<li>Kumog</li>
<li>Kuru</li>
<li>Kushu</li>
<li>Kurin</li>
<li>Kupek</li>
<li>Kupop</li>
<li>Kumama</li></ul>
Mog had the best name, imho.
