By request here is Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack composed for the movie Coma.
The score have the typical mannerisms that Goldsmith used on thriller movies of that time. It consists of atonal and dissonant music orchestrated by unsettled rythms, discordant high strings, pounding pianos, etc, and coupled by some electronic effects that helps to recreate a claustrophobic atmosphere.
Apart from this style Goldsmith composed an enjoyable love theme, which after the disturbing music is like a breath of fresh air. Also in vogue of that time is a disco arrangement of the love theme. A guilty pleasure!
