HARMONIA CAELESTIS - Sacred Pieces of Prince Pal Esterhazy

Pal Esterhazy (1635-1713) was the Grandfather of Josef Esterhazy, who in 1776
will contract Josef Haydn.

Harmonia Caelestis is the name of a music antology that appeared in manuscript form in 1699.
For the printed book of 1711 was used a second manuscript dated 1700.
The complete antology book contains 55 pieces arranged on the following manner
1 to 34: Text related to Jesus liturgic cycles (Christmas, Easter etc)
35 to 50: Texts related to Virgin Mary
50 to 55: Text with various contents related to Jesus, St Paul and The Day Of The Dead


This CD was recorded in Argentina , and issued exclusively with the magazine �Clasica�
