Use JDownloader, use Google Chrome, or get the Mega add-on for Firefox.

If you're using Firefox you shouldn't have any problems downloading from MEGA given they have updated the browser, basically "integrating" the add-on that MEGA once prompted users to install. If your browser isn't up-to-date, then make sure to update it.

If the problem you're having is regarding the download stopping at 3%, then perhaps restarting your browser in a clean state might help overriding the problem.

This problem happened to me most recently, but it pretty much solved itself out:

I use Firefox and haven't had any problems with MEGA ever since they updated the browser. However, a few days ago I was downloading something and it did "stop" at around 3% with a pop-up screen that read that "Firefox needed to consent the download" or something along those lines, and asking to click "ALLOW" to continue. Thing is, I didn't see anywhere anything that read "ALLOW" that was clickable, and after what I would surmise was a 10 second period, the pop-up closed itself and the download continued normally.

Perhaps restarting the browser would help clear this problem to anyone that's confronting it?

thanks Uvogin, Bosslady

i guess updating Firefox or using Chrome instead is the way to go
what i did was to click "import" instead of download, and from the screen it took me to, i right-clicked and choose "download" and then the little pop-up Bosslady was talking about appeared, and i allowed it
problem solved

but thanks a lot of your help
i will definitely do that in the future

and thanks again Uvogin for the upload, and for the Mediafire link. that didn't give me any problem at all

aww, man, re-reading my message, it sounds so lame, just thanking everyone..
