Platina Data rocks! Not just the track but the whole score.
It really does. This kind of album exactly the reason why I like Sawano's music.
I think i just have a problem with waiting. I like getting my soundtracks as soon as possible and the best way to do that is preordering it as soon as possible from cdjapan :3. I personally don't mind dishing out the extra dough. Though i'd say i'm a bit over obsessive with this sort of thing and i sometimes get into financial troubles D:
It's ok though anything for the sake of music! :D
About Blue Exorcist didn't the plugless version have music that wasn't in the original osts? Or was it just one of those greatest hits albums? I'm not sure since there are different versions of songs from the osts and Hiroyuki has a habit of using a song multiple times with subtle changes.

As much as i like the vocals for Attack on Titan album i kind of hope that there vocal-less versions that get released at some point. I originally fell in love with the "Attack on Titan" track when it was vocal less and it was the just the orchestra and chorus going crazy :).
Hehe financial troubles because of hobbies' expenses... yeah don't we all sometimes.
I'm not sure if Plugless had any unreleased stuff in it, but overall the album threw me off. At first I was excited when found out that it's coming out, I was hyped to get the limited edition of it, since some of the tracks from OST1&2 were absolute favorites. But then I tried preview samples and was unpleasantly surprised. The arrangements were mixed with some kind of ghetto ass rap crap, or something like that, the bad ass instrumental versions were turned into vocal songs and I just didn't buy that at all. I don't know, it's just not a good example of arrangement compared to originals.
Don't remember at what point the instrumental "Attack on Titan" was played in the show, but the vocal version was so great at the end of episode 04 - when Eren & Co are standing on top of the wall by the main gate, doing the regular maintenance, everything is sun shiny and uplifting mood throughout, and then Colossal Titan appears out of nowhere and smashes the gate with his foot. Eren's reaction and build up of music in background were so fukkin awesome during that moment. For me it's like one of those short segments you just want to watch over and over again. :D
EDIT: Actually "AoT" track is played instrumental for the most of the show, isn't it? And I guess it was instrumental during that moment I described, if we don't count the choir backing vocals. Also in the OST version of the track it takes about 2 minutes before the vocals kick in, so yeah it's no so bad, you should be happy :p
But a fully instrumental rendition would be nice too.
