SOUNDTRACK CD2 (http://vgmdb.net/album/32647)

SOUNDTRACK CD3 (http://vgmdb.net/album/32648)

Those were only available with the DVDs/BluRays. While the first OST was pretty easy to find I never saw the other 2 anywhere.
Anyone who might have those and is willing to share?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a lot in advance :)

Just listened CD1 and liked it, or at least the tracks by Gabriele Roberto are good.
Well it doesn't look like there any rips of CD2 & 3 on the web. As a matter of fact I don't even see them being on sale anywhere, not YAJ nor Surugaya, and not Ebay of course. Enclosure CDs... that's the problem with them. There isn't a tracklist for them online yet.

Anyway I sent a message to texhonolize over asiandvdclub.org, he owned Vol.4 & 6 and uploaded them there, but sold CD2 that came with Vol.4 Bluray. Will see about CD3 from Vol.6 BD, if he still has it. Slim chance but will see.

The DVDs & BDs are still on sale yes of course, they are fairly recent, I was talking about enclosure CDs that come with them, like if someone was selling theirs.

Got a reply from texhonolize, unfortunately he sold it and didn't rip the disc before letting it go.

Oh you mean someone buying the enclosure and then selling the CD on it's own? I didn't know that people did that actually :I.

Edit: Won't be able to get these after. October is going to be a really bad month for me :(.

Sorry.

Of course, people do that all the time, anything and everything can be sold and it is sold. Some don't care about enclosure CDs and they sell them right away, or they make a digital copy and sell it after that. I bought a lot of enclosure CDs on their own.

When you say you might be buying them later on, do you mean those Vol.4+6 DVDs? In brand new condition? Wouldn't it be cheaper to seek out only the soundtracks CDs... unless you're interested in owning japanese DVDs. That's hardcore. Almost like me haha. I own some Jap releases too, though they are Blurays.

PS. Oh I almost forgot - in reagrds to this whole anime vibe - a new episode of Attack on Titan comes out today, yaaaaaaay :P

Actually i've bought all of my blue/dvd enclosed soundtracks like that..........makes me want to actually take the time to figure ebay and other sites out lol.

I don't usually buy the dvd versions anymore mostly because bluerays are only 10$ more so it's worth it for the better visual quality. Plus sometimes the enclosures come with a lot of cool extras that i like to decorate my room with :3.

Speaking of Attack on Titan i can't wait for the second ost! I wonder if it's going to be like Blue exorcist though. We didn't get the full soundtrack till about 2 years after the 1st ost one released. And Gulity Crown...................yeah we know how that went lol.

Hellz yeah, ever since Blurays have become a new standard of quality I prefer to purchase them over DVDs, the price isn't much higher and it's totally worthy. Though importing japanese Blues isn't a cheap thing to do to begin with.

If you never bought from Ebay than.. you shouldn't have problem figuring it out :P That stuff is easy, english spoken part of internet after all. Places like Yahoo Auctions JP and Suruga-ya will take time to adjust and require a middle-man services to do the bidding and handling shipping. YAJ is basically a japanese Ebay, while Suruga-ya has some of the yummiest deals, I mean the items that pop up there are some of the most unavailable for a regular non-JP person. I bought a lot of rare and OOP vgm soundtracks from both places.

Planning on getting Attack on Titan OST2 exactly as mentioned earlier - will wait until someone lists the CD on sale, I'm not going to buy DVD/BD for it.

About Blue Exorcist I didn't really get what you mean - didn't OST 1&2 come out the same year (2011)? They look only a couple months apart. Reference: 1 (http://vgmdb.net/album/25549) & 2 (http://vgmdb.net/album/27541)

Guilty Crown was a mess in terms of soundtrack release, bits and pieces, pits and bieces... I dropped the show after the first several episodes and didn't bother to look up the rest of the OST, just got the stand alone release and that was enough. Actually I did collect other different version of Bioc, but that's it. The song was badass. I really like this kind of collaboration between Hiroyuki Sawano and Mika Kobayashi.
It's like it deserves its own category of awesomeness. So far I put 3 tracks into this group:

Bioc = from Guilty Crown
Attack on Titan = from Attack on Titan
α≠a = from Platina Data OST

Thanks for your help guys, especially LeatherHead for (eventually) buying them.
I don't think the music of Zetman is all that great. In fact it's quite Hans Zimmer-ish at times. Still I'd like to have all 3 soundtracks for the sake of completion.

@Milo
Platina Data rocks! Not just the track but the whole score.

I think i just have a problem with waiting. I like getting my soundtracks as soon as possible and the best way to do that is preordering it as soon as possible from cdjapan :3. I personally don't mind dishing out the extra dough. Though i'd say i'm a bit over obsessive with this sort of thing and i sometimes get into financial troubles D:
It's ok though anything for the sake of music! :D

About Blue Exorcist didn't the plugless version have music that wasn't in the original osts? Or was it just one of those greatest hits albums? I'm not sure since there are different versions of songs from the osts and Hiroyuki has a habit of using a song multiple times with subtle changes.

As much as i like the vocals for Attack on Titan album i kind of hope that there vocal-less versions that get released at some point. I originally fell in love with the "Attack on Titan" track when it was vocal less and it was the just the orchestra and chorus going crazy :).

It really does. This kind of album exactly the reason why I like Sawano's music.

Hehe financial troubles because of hobbies' expenses... yeah don't we all sometimes.

I'm not sure if Plugless had any unreleased stuff in it, but overall the album threw me off. At first I was excited when found out that it's coming out, I was hyped to get the limited edition of it, since some of the tracks from OST1&2 were absolute favorites. But then I tried preview samples and was unpleasantly surprised. The arrangements were mixed with some kind of ghetto ass rap crap, or something like that, the bad ass instrumental versions were turned into vocal songs and I just didn't buy that at all. I don't know, it's just not a good example of arrangement compared to originals.

Don't remember at what point the instrumental "Attack on Titan" was played in the show, but the vocal version was so great at the end of episode 04 - when Eren & Co are standing on top of the wall by the main gate, doing the regular maintenance, everything is sun shiny and uplifting mood throughout, and then Colossal Titan appears out of nowhere and smashes the gate with his foot. Eren's reaction and build up of music in background were so fukkin awesome during that moment. For me it's like one of those short segments you just want to watch over and over again. :D

EDIT: Actually "AoT" track is played instrumental for the most of the show, isn't it? And I guess it was instrumental during that moment I described, if we don't count the choir backing vocals. Also in the OST version of the track it takes about 2 minutes before the vocals kick in, so yeah it's no so bad, you should be happy :p
But a fully instrumental rendition would be nice too.

Here is the vocal-less version i was talking about
??????? Shingeki no Kyojin EP2) Armored Titan Scene - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt3O_Aw5Dok)

I can't recall how many times i replayed this scene. Not only for the epic shock value but for the amazing piece of music :).
It's unlikely it'll be in the second ost based on what i heard from the samples so maybe it will be in some other bundled enclosures (hopefully).

I sure hope that forest chase scene is the second ost though. Never thought we'd get an epic horror track in the show lol.

Also as of now Zetman is a no go for me :(. Not enough moola.

Ah yes Armored Titan scene, I see what you mean :) Yep, this is one of those awesome epic scenes from early episodes that made me want to follow the series.

This the one I was talking about from episode 4 = Shingeki No Kyojin (Ep.4) ending scene - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=R-7UZzHvfPU#t=86) [Gotta skip to 1:26]
And as you might guess, the favorite moment/culmination point is = "Every... fucking... one..." and the heaviest part of riffs start blazing as he flies through the air back on top of the wall. :)

By the way, which episode had the forest horror track - 18 or 19? I haven't seen 19 yet.

PS. It is totally cool that the thread's topic has been shifted to discussing music from other shows :p

LeatherHead333
08-26-2013, 07:01 PM
Yeah it's played in episode 19. Basically the female titan almost appears out of nowhere and starts swatting people like flies and chases Eren's group. It's epic as hell :).

P.S.

I'm sure no one minds we are having a shifted discussion. After all we are keeping this thread bumped aren't we? ^_^
